“First off I know people tend to read the first line of reviews, so very happy with Five Star!. We took our 04 Explorer there because I was getting a flashing "OD Off" light, which is indicative of a transmission issue. I also read a PCM code that indicated a shift servo fault. They checked the servos and they were working so the initial thought was perhaps a transmission fluid change may solve the problem, then they dropped the pan. Inside was metallic debris indicating a more serious problem and they recommended transmission swap. This was performed and the vehicle is working great again. The nice thing was they did not go right to transmission change without considering other, less-expensive options first. Obviously once the debris was found they did not proceed with a fluid swap; they did the transmission swap. Very pleased with their approach to the issue and the resolution. “We had taken our tire to fire stone because it was flat, and was still under warranty. The tread was still very deep and almost new like. Fire stone wouldn't fix the flat. They wanted to sell us a tire instead. That was ridiculous. So we took it over to carriage Auto service they fit it into their schedule and fixed it. No problem. They were very friendly and reliable. They had it ready when they said they would. We will be going over there in the future.”
