“I went to Mavis for a 5:00 PM appointment to have new tires installed, and I was told the wait would be about 2.5–3 hours. While the wait time wasn’t ideal, I had work to do, papers to grade, etc., so I didn’t mind too much.
What really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service from Dan and Carlos. Initially, I was the only customer waiting, and the TV was playing in the waiting area. After a long day of working with children, I was already overstimulated by noise, so I asked Dan if it would be possible to lower the volume. He was incredibly accommodating and genuinely hospitable about it. It was such a small thing, but his kindness and willingness to make me comfortable really stood out.
Carlos checked me in and was equally wonderful. He walked me through the entire process, made sure I had the information for the mail-in rebate, and even applied additional coupons to help bring my final cost down. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated.
To top it off, I had something I had written that I needed help proofreading and translating into Spanish. Carlos speaks Spanish, and I don't, and he was kind enough to help me with that as well. 😊
Both Dan and Carlos were easy to communicate with, patient, respectful, and genuinely seemed like good people who wanted to help. At no point did I feel ignored, rushed, or like they were trying to upsell or take advantage of me.
The wait time was definitely yucky, but the service and personal attention I received made up for it. Customer service like this is what makes a difference. I truly appreciate both of them and look forward to working with them again in the future.

“Service was great, but was shocked with the price to patch my tire. Tire person never discussed price after taking my keys to go inspect the tire he never once came back to tell me the charge until the job was completed. Other than that overall service was quick and easy. I would suggest, that they make the waiting area a little more welcoming. Area is very dated and dirty around the windows and doors and ceiling is loaded with large spider webs all over. It gave me the creeps.”

“I had a scraping noise coming from my car and stopped by to have it checked out after another mechanic did not return my messages. They were friendly, professional, and had the team take a look right away. They quickly found that the underbody splash shield had come loose and secured it as a courtesy.
I really appreciated how helpful and honest everyone was. They made the whole experience easy and stress-free. It’s refreshing to find a shop with great customer service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in the future. Highly recommend!

“Needed 2 tires. Called them, arrived in 15 minutes after the guy was friendly on the phone. Pulled up, got 2 new tires replaced and paid all in about 30 minutes. The workers are very hard working and take their job seriously. Prices were good too. The same tires at a chain tire and brakes store across from Walmart was almost 140$ more expensive. Southshore is a good little place. Highly recommend”
“I would like give Jay, the team and the location a HUGE thank you and shout-out!! ? I was having my tires changed today with a different service station and during the process it was identified that a previous technician in 2025 stripped one of the locking studs on my BMW X3 leaving me in a huge mess! I explained the situation to Jay, he assisted immediately to help free up the stripped stud so that I could get the last new tire installed. “I deliver here. My appt time was at 5am. They had me offloaded at around 3 hours(13 tons of tires delivered). I arrived on sunday around 7pm, parked there overnight, delivered the next morning and was on my way 3 hours later. They have a restroom inside during working hours for delivery drivers.”

If I take a car in to replace all four tires and align I do expect you to tell me about other things related to my tires. Let’s me know they only do the bear minimum.”
