“Every. Single. Time. I come in I am greeted by the lady at the register. I wish I would’ve gotten her name because she is an angel and I look forward just to her saying hey! Her customer service is beyond any expectations I could ever exceed, and I work in customer service. She deserves a raise and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would. She is a great asset to have to any company and I look forward to any encounters I have in the near future!! I don’t have enough words to compliment her sweet self. That girl deserves a raise. I also observed two other managers(I think) working hard together showing team work and great communication.”

“Update: I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. Thankfully, you no longer have to pay to use a grocery cart, but you do still bag your own groceries, which I'm okay with. I don't see the store owners anymore when I go there. The staff who actually work there are cordial enough, which is also okay because I don't go in to make friends anyway. When I'm spending my money and supporting a business, it's just common courtesy for them to at least be pleasant, and the personnel that I've interacted with recently are . The quality of the meats had improved the last time I was in there also. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices of some of the meats. If you look around, you can find some good bargains on meats, though you might have to cut off some of the fat on the pork. I like to cook my meats with the fat on for more umami flavor and cut it off just before eating it. But if you like less fat, you can get the higher price per pound variety of meat, which is also available. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the variety of herbs, peppers, and fruits. And they looked as good as those in some of the more high-end grocery stores. Overall, I was very satisfied with my shopping experience this time.------Original: You have to bag your own groceries and you have to pay to use a grocery cart. The meats are not always the freshest, very few brand name merchandise, and the prices aren't any better than the large supermarkets. The owners are not friendly either. In fact, they don't even acknowledge your presence in their store. Not once have they even said hello, thank you , or have a good day--not even during check out. They won't even look at you when you're standing right in front of them as they scan your groceries! When you say "Thank you," don't expect a reply even then. I've scaled down to using the store occasionally for the convenience of it being located on my way home. I now do the bulk of my shopping elsewhere.”

“Their nice... The current team is definitely better than the ones at Tower Square!... Although they're not very good at acknowledging you there either! Have a lot of youth working at the time andI remember working for Publix we had was a rule if someone was within six feet you would speak you, would greet saying hello, let me know if you need anything!? Now they put their heads down and try to run away, but that's the youth some of the management are like! That especially at Tower square. For example I was shopping for some fresh made salads and deli sliders in the deli case, there was a staff member look like a manager.... unpacking boxes I guess he was a bit irritated. He wanted me to move around but didn't know how to politely say it or whatever! He didn't greet me or say ANYTHING. Later as I was taking a photo or something he asked me could he help me? On my way out the door! It was crazy. It seemed like he knew what he was doing.... you couldn't speak to me whenI was almost in your personal space but now when I'm heading out the door you want to ask me what's wrong? Anyways I'll just deal with this one over here....”

“Let me just say that Publix has always been my favorite place to shop for food well before I could even afford to buy my own food as a little kid, I couldn't wait to go shopping with my mom just so I could get a Publix sub ☺️. But years passed, and I moved, living too far from Publix, having to shop at places like Hitchcocks and Wal-Mart. I'm not saying they aren't good. Publix is just good quality through and through. And well jumping ahead, I now live next to Steeplechase Publix Super Market, and every time I go in, I feel like I'm at Disneyland. From the kind and personable employees to the warm, inviting fresh bakery. I don't care if I'm going in for a gallon of milk only. I leave this store feeling better about shopping with them every single time. They are the best! And the reason why I continue to keep coming back. I call them my Publix. ?”

“You can never go wrong at trader Joe's. This place has just about everything you need grocery wise. Almost every single trader Joe's brand item has about five ingredients and all mostly organic or top grade pure ingredients. No fluff and stuff I don't think these guys believe in poisoning people like the rest of the chain stores out there. Beer and wine selection are awesome very reasonably priced too. We love to come here to get our cheeses and meats for charcuterie boards. We've eaten just about everything trader Joe's and I don't think I've ever been dissatisfied. EVER!!! This specific location has a lot of college students working and shopping here so just be mindful of the time that you come. It can get pretty busy. We have found that about opening to noon is good then from about 1:00 to 3:00 is good. Otherwise you're going to be in a smaller supermarket with tons of people. The staffer always super friendly had all the trader Joe's we've ever been to This location specifically is enjoyable and have never had a bad encounter with an employee. Love you trader Joe's keep up the good work!”

“Actually, this Publix has a lot more vegan and vegetarian options with new items all the time. Some are completely plant based and some with eggs and / or dairy. They carry the egg substitute JUST and have a huge variety of snack and chips that are completely vegan. No ww or white flour. There's a fairly good stock of cold vegan cheeses and sandwich fixings in the produce dept. Also, in the frozen section, there's vegan breakfast and dinner foods. I never leave the store without a full basket of vegan foods. Also, they are offering a vegan sub!!!”

“Somehow I'd never been in here before today despite being a huge fan of ethnic grocery stores and someone who does cook a fair amount of Latin food. I found the store a bit smaller than I first expected but they have a lot of products all the same--indeed, they have a good selection of Caribbean Latin goods plus some Mexican/Central American and even a decent selection of West African foods and the all-essential red palm oil! I was not expecting that, but it's great they carry West African stuff because no one else seems to in town (inform me if I'm wrong here) plus a lot of these products are used in the Caribbean, too. This is also a pretty easy place to get to, despite being in a small and kind of weird, older, shopping center there's ample parking. Also, the bread they carry is very tasty-- be sure to get some of their bread while in for your groceries! “Yes most Publix are pretty nice and clean. This place is phenomenal. It's beautiful It looks brand new inside and open aisles. Produce is usually nice and fresh bright and green. We don't live close to this Publix but we come here when we come to Gainesville and is an amazing place. Some people complain about the prices at Publix but to me the quality is worth the price!!! I would highly recommend this location to anybody and everybody. The staff are nice and friendly as well.”

“I live right around the corner and although there are a select few that work there that have come and gone, or I hope they are gone soon but there are a few member's that really do not get the notoriety that she deserves. To be honest with you, I do not know her name, and she has been there forever and a day! She is the most sweetest, genuine person they have there and I'm don't feel like she is appreciated enough. She is always there, always kind, always moving. If they don't have her stuck at the front tending the register she is stocking, and facing products, ALWAYS! And what I appreciate about her is she does her job and does it with a nice attitude. There are managers that work there that gripe and complain about everything under the sun including their jobs, while on the clock. There is one in particular that complains EVERYTIME I walk in the door, he is whining about something, or someone and nobody wants to hear negativity every time I walk in a store. I will say I absolutely LOVE the new store manager, Leah I believe her name is not the red head but the brown curly hair with glasses, she is exceptional, and does her job very well. She knows her customers by name, and makes sure we get what we need. But the black lady, I was speaking about is very very very good at her job and I feel like without her there all this time, u would have lost a lot of customers of it not for her believe me when I tell your she is an asset to your team of employees and she needs to be noticed by someone other than myself.”

“It's a whole foods. Plenty of choice of fresh products if you're willing to pay the price. Main thing I buy here is cheese since most places have a terribly small selection of cheese consisting mainly of what I can describe as plastic cheese. Whole foods and fresh market are the only 2 places I would want to get my cheese from with those huge selections. They also have a bunch of amazing pre-made meals and combo lunches that are a decent price for proportion.”

I do have to say the Employees for the most part are very courteous. I will say they have the worst district manager of all times The district manager does not seem like a pleasant guy at all he seems like a real jackass I witnessed him Belittling the manager and employees At the store and I shop there all the time I live right across the street that is my go to store for everything If they were to get a new district manager It would be more pleasurable to shop there. The nice manager lady was very helpful . I believe some lady named Andrea was also very helpful. They need a new district manager because this guy is like I said,not a very pleasant person.”

“Hitchcock's Markets is located on the corner of U.S. 27 and East 4th Street in Williston, Florida. It us a decent sized supermarket, but it does have a strange layout. It was as if the produce was off in another room and when I walked the length of the room I emerged on the other side of the cash registers.The staff was extremely friendly and like most supermatkets, some things are decently priced and some things are not so well priced.All in all, I would recommend this supermarket.”

About the only thing I can suggest is that if you're getting meat to either freeze or cook it right away!! Don't keep it in the fridge unless already cooked. Other than that, yes this store is always stocked and the employees are very friendly!!”
