“We have booked here before but it's been a few years and it was a pleasant visit both times. The reviews it gets are high because of the clean lobby to the hallways to the continental breakfast area to our room. Very friendly service and atmosphere plus affordable and within a few miles from Atlantic Beach and Jax Beach.”

“Very clean and spacious room, nice big bathroom and walk in shower , fridge could use a freezer section, the beds were comfortable but the pillows weren’t. Hotel staff was helpful and kind!
Some of their sustainability features in the room (ie the lights , ac controls , water pressure) seem to malfunction/or are somewhat inconvenient.
The WiFi isn’t good at all.
We stayed here because it is a pet friendly hotel which is great! But having a better grassy section for the dogs to do their business is definitely necessary. The current set up is small, hardly any grass, it’s in a very dark corner by a dumpster , granted they do provide a doggie bag trash can.
The lights issue is also a concern when bringing pets ; a third key card for couples with pets would be beneficial in that situation.
The location is great however. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Don’t be like us however and forget to look up the beach’s dog policies , they are not allowed on the beach during certain months. We didn’t know, that’s on us.
We didnt get around to trying the free breakfast but FREE breakfast is always ??? in my book.”
“My husband and I have stayed here a few times due visits at Jacksonville Mayo Clinic so I wanted to take a minute to give a review. This hotel has a warm inviting lobby with warm cookies, coffee and tea in the afternoon. Their rooms offer a spectacular view of Jacksonville Beach along with being clean, relaxing and the beds are so comfortable! The morning breakfast has fresh brewed coffee and a filling variety of food. The staff is so friendly…..we will be back in less than a week to our home away from home❤️”

“We messed up our Air b&b dates and needed a room. This was one block from our ab&b house. Checked in at midnight after riding the train up from South Florida. Nice, quiet, clean, and friendly.Walkability: Close to the beach. Downtown would require an Uber or some really good walking shoes. The beach should be enough.Food & drinks: Small room with sodas and snacks. Ice machine is in a different location.”
“Recent visit for anniversary. It was a perfect trip. Sure the weather was amazing, but this place made it special - from the excellent customer experience (everyone was so pleasant and helpful) and great food to the spectacular view from our comfortable beachside room. Place had a such great vibe too - very chill and relaxed luxury experience. Look forward to our return visit.”
“Pretty nice Navy Lodge. One of the nicest ones I have visited throughout the United States. Some rooms have beachfront views and others have views of the base and the swimming pool. I will be coming back again, next time it will be a beachfront view.”

“The breakfast was great with longer hours for service, IMO. Good selection of food. Please do better with the home fries or don't serve them, though. King suite had ample space and clean. Door wouldn't lock because of mechanical issue and Jane at front desk was quick to resolve the issue and move me next door. LPT, always make sure door locks before unpacking the entire suitcase & puttingclothes in drawes. Location was convenient. Fresh brew on demand coffee all day, is a nice touch. I'd stay again.”

“So the room we had was spacious and the bed comfortable. I had traveled for work all across florida and I have stayed in multiple Hiltons. The comp breakfast this hotel had was amazing. Typical weak scrambled eggs but they had great bacon and pulled pork option. In addition they had this build your own breakfast burrito variety to improve the eggs. Most comp breakfasts at hotels are mediocre, this place shines and I would rank it in the very decent for what it is. Surprisingly amazing”

“Overall really nice hotel. This is not a knock but just an FYI it is not on the ocean. It is however on the TPC Sawgrass golf course. Really pretty property. Location is good, pretty close to Jacksonville, rooms felt a little dated to me. My biggest wish was for another restaurant on property. There is not a lot of choices.”

“This is a great spot. The manager, Josh, is a very kind a chill individual. They have lots of snacks if you get hungry. The room was super clean and do not even get me started on the location. Perfect. The other similar boutique hotels in the area are nice as well, but the parking, location, and management make this the best spot in town.”
