“Had a good stay overall, but a few issues kept it from being perfect. The best parts were the location—just a block from the beach and walking distance to restaurants—and the breakfast, which was excellent and one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Our room was also clean, and staff were helpful when we needed adjustments. There were a few disappointments. The pool was closed during our stay, and the happy hour we were expecting from the hotel guide never took place. The AC was inconsistent and the room got warmer than comfortable one night. Check-in was also a bit difficult, as our room wasn’t ready on time. However, the staff switched our room and they comped our parking fee. Despite the small issues, the cleanliness, breakfast, and location made this a solid 4-star stay overall.”

“Five-Star Service for our Unforgettable Family Reunion!! I recently had the pleasure of hosting our family reunion at the Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront, and I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had from beginning to end. Planning a family reunion requires a tremendous amount of coordination, especially when you have family members traveling in and want to make sure everyone is comfortable and well taken care of. From the very beginning, the staff made the process easy, organized, and enjoyable. The hotel itself was clean, inviting, and beautifully maintained, and the renovated rooms and suites were comfortable and perfect for our family. Of course, the oceanfront location made the experience even more special and provided a beautiful setting for our reunion weekend. A very special thank you goes to the Director of Sales, Thomas Cancellare. Thomas was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the entire planning process. He took the time to explain everything, provided a comprehensive presentation of the hotel and its amenities, and made sure I understood all of the options available to our group. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to answer questions gave me confidence that we had selected the right hotel for such an important family occasion. From the planning stages through the actual reunion, I truly appreciated his professionalism and commitment to making sure our group had a great experience. I also have to give an EXTRA special thank you to Head Chef Rene’ and her incredible staff. They did a tremendous job taking care of our family and were truly one of the highlights of the entire weekend. Chef Rene’ and her team prepared and served our family on Friday evening and then did an outstanding job again for our Saturday picnic at the beach. The food, preparation, presentation, and service were excellent, but what impressed me most was the genuine care and attention they gave our family. As the host, being able to enjoy the reunion without constantly worrying about the details meant a great deal to me, and Chef Rene’ and her staff helped make that possible. Their professionalism, hospitality, and hard work certainly did not go unnoticed. Overall, our experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront exceeded my expectations. Hosting a family reunion is ultimately about bringing loved ones together and creating lasting memories, and the team at this hotel played an important role in helping us do exactly that. I am extremely grateful to Thomas, Chef Rene’, and the entire staff for their hospitality and for helping make our family reunion such a success. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a family reunion, group gathering, special event, or simply looking for a wonderful stay at Jacksonville Beach. “Still can’t believe this beautiful hotel is right here in front of the ocean! Clean staff amazing devote. great food at landshark. And super clean like spotless We were lucky to stay here as we booked an Airbnb which turned into a nightmare. This is located right on the beach literally a 2 minute walk. Pool was fun for the kids and the food around here was amazing”

“We celebrated a birthday in the lounge. The menu variety is what drew me. The chef & bartender & manager were lovely, professional, had good communication, and more. The hotel was gracious enough to let us have our birthday cake in the covered courtyard since a summer storm motivated us off the beach. I look forward to coming back regularly but with a smaller group & more speciality drinks for the adults.”
