The Bistro
1023 Kane Concourse, Bay Harbor IslandsThe restaurant was located less than a mile from Haulover Park. We went with a party of seven for breakfast on Sunday morning and the place was empty when we arrived but started to fill up as we were eating. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, The name of the restaurant on the menu is Bay Harbor Bistro, but the name in Google maps and also on the actual restaurant is just The Bistro. We were greeted and sat quickly upon arrival. The ambience is clean and basic with plenty of tables. The venue offers both breakfast and lunch as well as variety of coffee options. My party had a cappuccino, a latte and iced latte and an American coffee all of which were decent. The service was very accommodating to some changes that we made to our orders. My husband ordered his Spanish sausage bowl without marinara sauce, and I changed my eggs. Benedict to have them on a croissant with American bacon. It was no issue to make the changes and everything came out correct. My friend's daughter ordered the fruit bowl and we all agreed that the fruit was under ripe and a bit sour but I think that has more to do with the time of year than the actual restaurant. The servings were definitely on the smaller side, the largest most filling thing was probably the frittata which filled the whole plate. We also ordered the French toast to share with the table, and it came with two thick slices of French toast, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We all enjoyed that as a shared plate. If I was in the area, I would definitely consider going back again.

1166 Kane Concourse, Bay Harbor IslandsI'm always satisfied when I go to coffee break, the service is super friendly and attentive, the setting is beautiful and great for all ages, the food is so fresh that it tastes like my grandma made it at home, it truly tastes like real food made from scratch. It offers a variety of food options in the menu all the way from delicious healthy breakfast to lunch, snacks and ice cream this place has my heart as much as it has my tummy i recommend 10/10
