“Good hardware store excellent employees always help you out when you can't find something. Not crazy about them closing so early during the week and not being open on Sunday when I find on doing my home repair and need replacement parts for whatever I'm working on it forces me to go to home Depot where it's hard to get any help when you can't find something. Most employees are only no one section IE: plumbing electrical lumber ECT. That's if you can locate one, without going to customer service and asking for help. They use the intercom to ask for an employee to go to the section where I need help. Sometimes they show up sometimes it don't. It's usually at least a 3-minute wait. More wasted time. That does not happen in your store, they find you and ask if you need help, that's the way it should be, that's how it used to be, in the olden days 20 or 30 years ago. By”

“This is the letter that I just sent to the Corporate Headquarters of Home Depot, and justifiably so; Dear Mr. Ted Decker President & Chief Executive Officer, 05/18/22 The reason for this letter is based on the most notable customer experience that we've had to date, and because it was so supremely over the top, we just had to take the time and give credit where credit is due. My husband and I are in our 70's so we've been around for quite a while, and because we value good customer service, we look for these attributes. We met Philip G, in the garden section yesterday, 05/19/22 at the Ocala Florida store as he was in the middle of something, but My husband Perry and I were so baffled about what we needed and I'm sure it showed on our faces so Philip made an abrupt stop and asked if he could help us. We were impressed with that first off because many times, we've seen associates just walk by as though we were invisible. Philip is kind, caring, supremely knowledgeable, perfectly professional, friendly, and embodies the most ethical core vales that we've seen in very, very long time. Phillip is not only a valuable employee to Home Depot, but he is a coveted team player to his peers. We know this by just watching and listening. If we didn't know any better we would have thought that Philip was a part owner of Home Depot because of his intense desire to not only help us, but to educate us giving us the complete package, and providing an extra value. It was like he had this ethical obligation to make sure that when we walked away, all questions were answered, and our money was well spent, and our project would be a Home Depot success! We shared that our lawn was in bad condition, and we need to know what to do. It was clear that we didn't know what we were doing because we were even in the wrong area. Philp conducted our very own workshop because he taught us what to use and what not to use and why. He explained everything in layman's terms, so that we could understand completely and also wanted to know if there was anything else that we were concerned about. Philip explained what to look for and how to treat it. This was major to us because we want to make sure that our spending is going to make a difference, and not just both wasted effort and wasted money. After all fertilizer has gone up substantially, and we are on a fixed budget. Philip also saved us money by teaching us the right way to get this project competed by using the right products, and without having to hire someone to do it for us. We are all living in a very different, and rather scary time in our Nations history, but to meet someone that calms your fears, and makes you feel like you are so valued, was not only refreshing, but we walked away thinking, we can't wait to return for another phenomenal experience and learning session from Philip. We feel so confident that we can do this project, and win accolades of our neighbors as well. Phillip is an extraordinary man with a gift of a caring and discerning heart, and if only he would be a trainer for new hires, what a wonderful world it would be. “A huge shout out the to entire staff at Ace Hardware in Belleview. I locked my keys in my work van and it was hot as ever outside. I contacted my towing service they stated it would be 2-4 hours. I go into Ace to purchase this lil tool to try and get in my vehicle while taking to my daughter in the phone telling her what’s going on. The staff over hear me and say honey we can help you they stated they have the tools to get me right in my vehicle. Baby when I say I was in their shouting in Ace Hardware when the young man came from the back with the lil kit. And the staff were praising him with me. The young man went outside and got me in my vehicle in less than 3 minutes and baby I was outside praising God me and the step came outside to help me praise God.. … I will always be a loyal customer of Ace Hardware.. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐. It makes me feel good to conduct business with individuals that aren’t afraid to praise God regardless of who is around..These employees are an asset of this business.”
