“I love the way this store is laid out. The store looks like it's really high end on the outside, but when you get inside it's more down to earth. They do carry some of the better more high end tools as well as being a Stihl dealer. They have a while section dedicated to Stihl, including bars and chains, scabbards down to STIHL safety glasses and bar and chain oil as well as other safety equipment like chainsaw hard hats with shields attached and ear protection. There are at least 10 different Stihl model chainsaws. I even found the Stihl OEM bar and chain for the MS260 and the 046 I'm rebuilding to be the heartbeat of the chainsaw sawmill I'm working on. That 046 us capable of wearing a 34" bay and chain so it's powerful enough to run the mill.
Northern tool also has a repair department and mechanic on staff and can work on your Stihl equipment that needs repair. Being a dealer they are capable of carrying out warranty work on your new equipment as well as ordering the parts and making repairs to your older equipment that has been around longer than your kids. I know my 046 was sold in 2000, and my daughter was born in 2001. And I got this beast in much the same condition as I got my daughter, ready to be made into the end product I know it's capable of being. No really, it was a box of parts that I was given and promised it was all there.
Northern tool is a large, clean and nice place to shop, a large parking lot with plenty of parking, a friendly staff with some of the best known as most powerful equipment on the market and is just as capable of fixing your old broke down equipment as well as selling you new equipment to replace what is beyond repair or more expensive to repair than replace. They are definitely worth checking out.
After a couple years i still love this store. I always find what i need and generally a few things i didn't know i needed. I got the magnetic ground for my welder. And i found the wheels i need for my wheelbarrow that i will pick up on payday.”

“I went over specifically to bring in some kitchen fluorescent tube lights when I found out that Lowe's recycles them, which is awesome! (Home Depot doesn't..?boo!). The young lady at Customer Service also graciously offered to take the long, narrow mattress box with Styrofoam that I had brought the tubes in. Bravo Lowe's! ??????????✨✨✨✨✨”
“Overall a great home DIY store, however went to purchase a step ladder and all were covered with concrete dust, see photo. The entire section is used to store excess concrete sacks above the ladder selection so they are all caked in dust. Had to hose & scrub down before indoor use. Nobody seemed to care when I brought it up at the checkout. So beware if you need an indoor ladder.”
“I like Home Depot. But I like it better when the people that work there try to be helpful. This seems to be the exception rather than the rule at this particular Home Depot. I assume it’s a managerial problem. Other Home Depot I go to in Pensacola people greet you ask if you need help not so much at this one. That’ll probably change maybe they’re under stress for some reason or another.”

The man that night was very uncaring for us as costumers, he just wasn’t interested in helping us. So, we came back today to find someone else to help us.
