“We were visiting for spring break and it was our last day. Super rainy and we were trying to find something to do. Stumbled upon the art studio and had a blast! A great way to spend a few hours with interactive art exhibits. As three 23 yr old girls we had a great time. Highly recommend and they are putting in more exhibits!”

“Rooms: Spacious bedroomFood & drinks: Very Mexican influenced menu. Quantity too much for the average Brit. Service friendly.Noteworthy details: Helpful staff when BA failed to load my bag from LHR. Eventually turned up following day. Good liaison with Viking rep on site.”

“The best aspect of this hotel is the location. It is close to the airport, cruise port, and many shops and restaurants. They offer a free shuttle from the airport, paid shuttle to the cruise ports, coffee and alcohol bar in the lobby, and free breakfast each morning. Within walking distance, there are many popular restaurants and outlets, in addition to other bigger stores like Hobby Lobby and TJ Maxx. The other aspects of the hotel are about average, and nothing special. My wife and I stayed here the night before our cruise and it was perfect for that. We decided to take a Lyft/Uber from the hotel to the cruise port as it was cheaper, so definitely price check before signing up for the hotel shuttle. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is newer, but definitely nothing special or noteworthy. It definitely could use better maintenance and updating in some areas, including the rooms. Our room felt clean, but was definitely tired looking and feeling. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel if you need to stay a night before a cruise or trip at the beginning or end, but I would stay here more than a night or two.”

“We needed something to do on on Saturday as we were watching our Autistic nephew with a lot of energy. We made reservations online the day before. As we arrived (first time there) we were quickly greeted by Angelina Inglese. My wife advised her that we had reservations at 1pm. Angelina did not even ask for our name and just said "Welcome Solis Family". Most will not realize that small detail but it says a lot about Angelina. It was busy, so that means I am sure we were not the only reservation near that time. Within seconds, she was able to identify the number in our party associated with the time and greet us. Being our first time, she explained the entire process with drink tickets shoes etc. To the point I ended up purchasing more tickets than I really needed because of how easy she made it. One of the associates walked us to our lane and introduced us to our server Kenny. Within minutes, Angelina came to make sure we were settled in and if we had any questions. We had a rather larger party next to us and Kenny the server did not miss a beat. His service was top tier.As a business owner myself, people only take the time to complain and expect something for free. It was refreshing to take 3 hours out of my busy life and receive service like this on a day that I was expecting to be stressful. You are lucky to have Angelina and Kenny on this team. Many always say to look at the big picture, but most forget that the picture has many small details. We will be back and 100% booking through her.”

“Highly recommend staying at the Hyatt House at Dania Pointe pre cruise! I felt like we got a whole extra vacation day staying here since it’s within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, music and entertainment at Dania Pointe. We traveled with our two young kids and the room was perfect with a pull out sofa for them and a kitchen. The pool was beautiful and an added bonus to enjoy our day pre cruise. We walked to Dania Pointe and enjoyed shops, restaurants and a fun splash pad for the kids. There was even live entertainment and music later in the day. TJMaxx was also walkable and a huge perk since we forgot several things for our cruise that we were able to grab before heading to the port. There is a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. There’s also a shuttle from the hotel to the port for $16 or so a person. There’s complimentary breakfast available in the morning until 930.I would absolutely recommend staying here with kids or just as a couple/solo traveler. The rooms are clean and the staff were all so wonderful, helpful and kind. Thanks Hyatt House for a clean, smooth and fun day 1 of our trip!Nearby activities: Dania pointeSafety: Needed to use your key card to get in and out of the pool area. Surrounding area seems upscale and very safe.Walkability: Dania Pointe, TJ Maxx, lots of shops and restaurants. There’s a movie theater and what looks to be a bowling place coming soon.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast”
