We recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary aboard the Sun Dream, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. From the very first conversation through the day of our event, the planning process was seamless, professional, and stress-free.

Our guests had an incredible time, and everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone is still responding, that was the best Fourth of July weekend ever. The yacht was beautiful, the atmosphere was amazing, and every detail helped make our celebration unforgettable. Especially how hard the captain worked to ensure we saw an amazing fireworks show.

A very special thank you to Wendy, Kristin, and our captain. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt celebrated every step of the way. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our anniversary experience truly memorable.

“This is one of the premier private clubs in fort Lauderdale. It was wonderful when I went there when I was still in elementary school. It's 10 times better now, but it is a private club. The staff is very accommodating if you show up and have questions but generally admission is limited to members and their guests.”

“I have my daughter in their DCA program and they are so amazing!!! They truly are faithful servants of the Lord. As a single mom, they welcomed us with open arms and so much love and care for us. I’m forever blessed and grateful for all the teachers and staff that make the property safe and full of affection. They give me such a peace and rest that my child is in their care and all the fun activities I can’t afford outside of their program, they continually do amazing events and provide such cater to my child’s growth in learning and playing. “​For anyone exploring the downtown area, this historic pioneer village along the Riverwalk is a mandatory stop that offers a stunning contrast to the modern skyline. The campus is anchored by the breathtaking 1905 New River Inn, which proudly stands as the oldest surviving hotel in the county. If you look closely at the architecture, you will notice it is constructed from hollow sand-concrete blocks molded on-site. This is a fascinating piece of early engineering originally designed to keep the building cool in the humid Florida heat.
​Beyond the magnificent Inn, the shaded grounds are home to two exceptionally prominent historic residences. Visitors can take in the elegantly restored 1907 King-Cromartie House and the beautiful 1905 Philemon Bryan House. These structures are connected by well-maintained brick pathways and shaded by massive, mature oak trees.
​When planning your visit, this waterfront campus serves as the perfect starting point for a broader tour. You can easily explore the village first and then continue your walk east along the paved promenade. Access is incredibly straightforward because they have their own dedicated parking lot right by the houses. As a great practical tip, this lot includes accessible parking, and it is completely free if you have a handicap placard.
​While walking the exterior grounds is a wonderful experience on its own, taking the time to purchase admission and view the indoor exhibits is highly recommended. Give yourself at least an hour and a half to truly appreciate the scope of the property. Whether you are a dedicated history buff or simply looking for a peaceful detour during a waterfront stroll, this beautifully preserved village is a phenomenal educational asset right in the heart of the city.”

“We had our wedding here and it was absolutely perfect. We got to enjoy the renovations that weren’t there when we booked: gorgeous tile inside, beautiful patio layout, and the exciting LED screen. Lavan offers additional packages for great prices. I don’t have a single complaint and would recommend anybody book this location for their special event.”

“Came in expecting an average kayaking experience. Turns out, the area is really nice with different forks and path “options” to take. We saw some ducks, geese, turtles, and some other animals too. Overall, fairly priced and nice staff. Would recommend!”

“We recently hosted my daughter’s 9th birthday party at Blush Luxury Venue, and it was an incredible experience! The space itself is absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration.
​The team at Blush is warm, professional, and so easy to work with. A huge plus for us was the location—having two kosher restaurants right next door made the catering and logistics incredibly convenient. My daughter had a blast! I highly recommend Blush Luxury Venue for your next party or event!”

Zora Grant working for the hotel, who was in charge of the wedding party also assisted us and stayed with us thru out offering comfort and meeting all of our immediate needs. “The Winterfest Boat Parade is AMAZING!!! Every year, 100+ boats cruise the waterways of Fort Lauderdale and the whole city comes out to celebrate. We have put boats in the parade for 3 years and it is an incredible time. Well organized, safety is priority, and the light show is spectacular. We love that the community comes together to display its best traits, boats and water views. I would highly recommend going to see the show from one of the grand stands, or if possible, entering a boat.”

“Just a short 7-minute walk to the beach! Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and welcoming once you walked through the door. Our room was a standard-king and it was very clean and comfortable. I will say, that the windows in each room tend to face one another - so our curtains were shut the whole time. Was a bit surprised there wasn't some kind of window tint? The fridge size was a huge bonus, I've never been to a hotel with one that big. It was very helpful when we had dinner leftovers.”

Probably because the owners want to deal with a mostly White crowd now after putting up with all the cheap-azz, obnoxious Negros holding their events there.
Showing up with Groupon Coupons, not tipping the staff, complaining about everything, leaving a big mess while putting on a show of self-importance when they barely cross the threshold for semi-literate.”

“This was a fun place to spend time with my family. We roller skated which I have not done in many, many years. They have an arcade, go carts, escape rooms and many more things to do. Fun time was had by all, big kids (me) included.”

“Very nice hotel. I stayed in room 511. This has a king bed with fold out couch bed and a balcony. Everything was clean. There are many food options within the hotel and within a few minutes walk. My family and I stayed here over night before we got on a cruise ship. We were lucky enough that from our balcony, we could see the disney cruise ship that we would be getting on. We ordered dinner from the Italian restaurant on the ground floor. The Alfredo with chicken was very good. We also enjoyed their very authentic bread and olive oil.
Front desk staff we very polit and helpful. No complaints there. The valet in the evening when we dropped off our car did not seem very interested in doing his job. He was on the phone while collecting my keys and paying very little attention. The morning valet was super polite and helpful. He happily loaded our bags in the car for us. I especially like the valet app. I was able to get my car pulled upto the front from my room with a tap. Over all great experience”

“We stayed at the Crowne Plaza before heading out on our cruise, and it was the perfect choice. The location is excellent, we were able to easily walk to nearby restaurants and shops, which made everything so convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself was very well organized. Everything felt smooth and stress-free, which is exactly what you want before traveling. We’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay before a cruise.”

The housekeeping doesn't speak much but probably because of culture and they have to get permission from front desk to do certain things so don't be offended.
Food and business needs are right across the street.
They have a good quality air balance AC units. Their complimentary laundry room is always clean.
The whole place always smells nice. The complimentary coffee and tea station always cleaned.
Don't choose nowhere else. Spend 10.00 for an Uber to where you need to go and stay at this location because it's definitely going to be a better experience than your hotel near your corporate office or events. Plus they have a complimentary shuttle to the airport and the prices are very good. Well worth the experience. Everyone here is nice and treats the guests with respect and warm welcomes daily. Arlene took care of everything we needed and made sure our accomodations were accurate and efficient. Sonia was such a delight. Tiara , Danielle, Baldwin... The whole team such a great group of people.”

“Hotel staff, location and lobby area are all great. Staff is super friendly and accommodating, parking lot location to the entrance was close and lobby was clean.
The room looked nice and tidy and did not look outdated, but that’s about it. The balcony door handle was broken and dangling, 1 side of the sheer curtain was completely missing and out of the four elevators they have, at one point only 1 was functional. At other times only 2 seemed to be working.
Would stay again in a pinch, but definitely needs a little maintenance upkeep of the rooms.”
