“Great location for waking in downtown Deland and only a few mins drive to the wedding venues nearby where we got married.Dustin the bar manager was incredible and so flexible staying open for our wedding after party until after midnight and making great drinks. He managed to do this with very short notice due to miscommunication, so we Thank you very much!Rooms are beautifully designed and have bright fresh interior and furniture.Shower heads need to be cleaned better, our friends in the large suite said the same.Communication in general over the last year of booking this hotel for our wedding party was always a little challenging, but I know they have gone through management changes and everyone has always been pleasant. But I do think they will succeed more with clearer channels of communication with guest and staff.Overall though I highly recommended this beautiful hotel.Rooms: Beautiful and clean rooms. Lovely design, fresh and modern.Nearby activities: Wedding venues nearby so perfect for the romantic overnight.Walkability: Easy access to all of downtown Deland shops and restaurants.Food & drinks: Highly recommend the drinks at the bar. Dustin the bar manager was very accommodating and made great drinks.”

“It was such a wonderful trip that we booked for this Memorial Day weekend before we left last year.Nearby activities: We bought our boat so we were able to go up and down the river and had sooooo much fun! Good restaurants nearby. Sit out on your balcony and observe gators, manatee and other wildlife right in front of you. Is lived in Florida all my life and for the first time, saw a bear on our way to Hontoon.”

“Dear owner…..we love your place! The venue, atmosphere, food and personnel are all outstanding. One correction….spend some money and get someone to answer your phone during business day hours. Having a record stating you’re busy and we will get back to you is a poor process. Your place is too good for this type of arrangement and the extra cost of having someone take your phone may prevent you losing business from callers frustrated when they are looking for an immediate answer regarding your establishment. Keep strong! Love it there! Nice move bringing in Anique. She is fantastic!”

“I recently stayed here and most definitely was a pleasant stay. The new owners are amazing and has cleaned the place up a lot. I have kids and I felt safe I def recommend. Give them a shot u won’t regret it ?”

“On the plus side: fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room.On the minus: In our room, the beds were hard as a board. No blackout curtains either. The toiletries were in extremely tiny bottles, the towels were small, and we could hear everything happening in the hallway.(I wouldn't have expected more had the price been lower, but at the price point I paid? Not acceptable. If I'd paid less than $100 I'd have been okay with it.)Staff was marvelous, no issues whatsoever with them.”

“Booked my stay through American Express, and can’t recall a “breakfast package” it is possible I may have missed, however if not selected, it is not able to be added on at all in the future. Our tv color balance was off horrendously, and when asked if there was any way to change, maintenance crew is not available. And during a short stay, made it irritating being that I will have only had one more night. Room service did not come in at all during the whole day despite not having anything on the door. The A/c is very noisy, and whenever it shuts off crackles when turned off. Overall for an astounding 173 a night, not even including taxes and fees, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for anything. Hopefully the Hampton inn down the street will be a much better opportunity for my next trip. The location is good, but for another location to be cheaper, with a indoor pool, it can’t be much worse than here.”
