“I had gotten a phone for my dad and he has lost it, I called customer service but I forgot the PIN for the account and was told by customer service that I had to go to the store. I went to the closest store located at 1690 N. Woodland Blvd. I walked into the store and told the guy working there that I needed help to cancel my account, he looked at me like I was stupid and told me that I had to call customer service, I started to tell him that the customer service person told me to go to the store but I didn’t get that far as he turned his back on me and walked outside and got on his phone. I was furious. I then went to this store located at 2337 S Woodland Blvd where Bethany Lopez greeted me and listened to my situation, she then helped me get the account cancelled so that I wasn’t stuck paying for a phone my dad no longer has. I was completely done with Verizon wireless after going to the store located at 1690 N. Woodland Blvd in Deland Florida, but Bethany changed my feelings about Verizon. She was respectful, listening to my problem and helping me out. Verizon really needs more people like Bethany Lopez she was absolutely amazing. Thank you Bethany”

We went to the store early (9am -as soon as they opened) and the two ladies that greeted and assisted us were a breath of fresh air. Fast knowledgeable and funny. I typically hate going phone stores they are always trying to upwelling etc but even with them sharing about new promos or discounts they didn’t pressure.
I’m eligible for an upgrade soon and will be back!

“My wife went in to the cricket store to get phone's for me and her on monthly payment plan including service. She forgot her wallet so her grandmother offered to use her card untill she got back to the house. At first cool great. While they were at the store the lady said to her after a period of conversation that hey if your looking to upgrade your phone you have a 1400 store credit you qualify for with no upfront cost. So a day or to her grandmother goes back in gets a couple phones and the lady up sells her beats headphones that she told her she would never use. Her grandmother gets home and says that she doesn't see this credit for 2 phones and the headset but instead is charged 400 plus. So instead of my wife and I being able to keep our phone that were in my wife's name we had to return everything because it was charged to her grandmothers credit card. Long story short the first lady didn't explain everything very well but the lady's that had to redo the entire transaction for my wife and I did a superb job. My only gripe is that instead of having to return the phones and purchase new ones. Cricket should have a system to enable their employees to do so. Great recovery cricket.”
