“Very nice. Surprised there was a fresh baked blue Berry pound cake. Tasted very good. The rooms are well kept. Coffee can be made in the room. Would come back if in the area.”

“Very disappointing for the price. The front desk staff were not friendly. When we checked out, we weren’t even asked about our stay. Housekeeping was terrible. They didn’t really clean the rooms, but rather went through the actions, usually while talking on a cell phone. The rooms are tired. They even have an old conference style phone in the room. The shower was an old jutted tub with a curtain too small. We had to walk through a breezeway to get to our room. The carpet was worn. Our room, while facing the water, was also right above the ‘Tiki Bar’ and outdoor patio. They seem to just be going through the motions of an upscale hotel. Finally, while not the fault of the hotel, is the location. The surrounding area is VERY busy (we were not even there during high season). There is also a loud tourist helicopter that flies back and forth past the hotel multiple times per day. Not a very relaxing, peaceful or enjoyable stay.”

“Excellent hotel, location, stuff and service.Nice breakfast, heated pool, hot tub and a short walk to the beach.Our family loved the rooms, spacious and daily flexible house keeping. We had our little dog with is and they were available for house keeping at our schedule (when we leave with the dog).We learned that Miramar beach does not welcome dogs when we got there so the puppy had to stay in the room with no issues.Rooms: Spacious and clean.Nearby activities: Short walk to the beachFood & drinks: Excellent breakfast and short drive to good restaurants.”

“Best views anywhere! All rooms have same wonderful view as motel is on the beach! Rooms are clean, some updating done and rooms are simple but ample. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. We return yearly!”

“My mom, daughter and myself stayed from March 31-April 6, 2024 and this was our first time in Destin. We absolutely loved the area. The motel was amazing and their staff were very attentive, friendly and polite. Our keycard reader on our door stopped working during our stay and they promptly had maintenance come and replace the entire thing. The pool was always clean and my daughter enjoyed swimming everyday. We were perfectly in the middle between downtown Destin, the beaches and fort Walton. We absolutely would stay again!”

“5 star review! Set Your expectations people. THIS IS AN ECONOMICALLY FRIENDLY MOTEL! Staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. We did get breakfast bar on one day. It's Motel breakfast bar people not a fancy all you can eat buffet. Price was great and a few blocks from beach. Room had a Miami Vice architecture feel with fresh update. Had a blast and left coin in my pocket. Thanks to you and you staff for a great visit.Rooms: Room was clean and beds were comfortable.Nearby activities: Everything we did was withen a short drive or right thereSafety: Key card entry other than from desk.Walkability: Extremely close to the Beach.Food & drinks: Very close to all things that you want to do. For the price the drive to here and there no problem .”

“We stayed the night to visit with family. We had fun in the indoor pool and all the indoor games. My kids loved the room and games. Room was clean and in order. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hope to stay again soon.”

“This place was great for the price! Swimming pool clean, parking is tight if you coming in late. Getting the hotel you have to do a crazy uturn and traffic is heavy good luck. This place place is surrounded by many stores in walking distance restaurants too.Bring a broom especially if you're going to thr beach. Dollar tree have $1.25 brooms there is no carpet.The people running the place is pretty nice you have to have a quarter for ice you can wash your also.”

“We are locals that don't normally come to the harbor area, but our recent visit was very enjoyable and we loved watching the sunset on the docks! We asked two handsome security staff for directions (one had glasses and one with cool tattoos, can't remember the names), but they were very friendly and also gave us a restaurant recommendation to check out. We felt very safe and welcomed!!”

“As a member of BW's loyalty program, I occasionally am given some kind of perq at check-in. Nothing was forthcoming this time, which was OK. Our king suite included a living room area with a fold-out couch, a king bedroom with 2 nightstands, a TV, and a bathroom between. Flooring was LVP; no carpet. The bed was comfortable, but the bottom sheet was pilled so rough-textured. There was a fridge and microwave, but no room safe. The room was clean and quiet. There was plenty of countertop and storage space in the bathroom. There were way too many malfunctions in the hotel overall. The toilet took multiple flushes to work, the bathroom mirror light was insufficient, the main lobby elevator didn't work, and the ice machine on our floor didn't work. And a bit of weirdness: the bathroom exhaust fan was located within the tub shower area, and the diverter on our tub's water spout was glued up... so if you wanted to use the tub, the water would have to come from the shower head. The breakfast room was large enough to accommodate those at the hotel when we were there... but this might not be the case in peak season. The hot breakfast selections were very good and varied during our stay. There were 2 working waffle makers. Cold breakfast selections included peeled hard-cooked eggs and yogurt. Coffee was passable. Breakfast hours were longer than at most hotels. The person overseeing the breakfast area was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay despite the various malfunctions. Having a good breakfast added a star to my rating.”
