“So glad to have 1 so close now since they closed in South Florida. The employees were extremely friendly and I always spend more than I want because their selections speak to me.”

“Great choices, not cheap but cheaper than the Alumni store in the city. No military discount, no student discount, lol. We all found something cute to buy. Loved the Gator embroided Lululemon collection. Way too pricy for me but very cute.”

“I always enjoy coming here. I like the mix of new and used books, it's a great selection. Because they buy books, the inventory is always changing so if you visit often, you won't see the just the same stuff over and over again. The staff is young and mostly helpful. Sometimes seem a bit distracted. The buying counter pays you about what you'd expect, which isn't a lot but it's better than giving to Goodwill.”

“I haven't been to the Friends of the Library book sale in a while, so going was kind of an experience. I didn't really have a goal in mind for what I wanted, so just going through the stacks and browsing to see if anything caught my eye was the basic plan. Lots of people lined up, but I got through the line pretty quickly. Inside, the books are arranged in a reasonable order, and the different sections are easy to identify, so finding areas that interested me was not a problem. Coming across the cooking section, I found that there were a number of smaller cookbooks that I like to term as "Wive's Club Cookbooks" which can be some of the best/most entertaining cookbooks you can come across due to the nature of the recipes that are contained in them. You never know what you are going to find in them, though recipes from the 1960's are prevalent and gelatin comes into heavy play. Good stuff there, and I stocked up on them. Overall, the Friends of the Library book sale is always a good thing to go to!”

“I'm a charter bus driver. I brought a group of kids from Hollins High School in St Petersburg Florida. To tour the school to help the kids decide where they want to go to school. From what I've seen it looks like a nice school. I know some kids use this as a stepping stone to get to UF!”
