“We recently hosted at event at The Wooly for the Women’s Council Of Realtors. As the event coordinator I worked very closely with Bailey and Calli and they were fabulous. I had to be extremely detail oriented as our event was expecting 120-150 guests and while this is an annual event our organization has hosted for nearly 20 years, moving it to The Wooly meant we had to rewrite the playbook. They accommodated several visits to the venue so I could go over our layout as we hosted a fashion show in addition to a silent auction, dinner and dancing. Many of our guests said it was the best it had ever been, they loved the venue and loved the food. The lighting, decor and vibe were perfect for our 70’s themed event.”
“We just hosted a formal UF event for 45 people in this lovely newly renovated space at Depot Park. It's air-conditioned, wonderfully redone, quite convenient, and in one of the most beautiful spots in Gainesville. The food was absolutely delicious and received applause afterwards! The staff were attentive and friendly, and working with the event planner, Bailey Bruce, was very easy! We will be returning to this space, I know! ?”
“Love Unconditionally ~ Nurturing your Heart w/ Molly MacLarenwas the most luscious experience I have had in a while. Molly MacLaren (facilitator) and Vonnie Darby (sound healer) created an intensely magical experience. The quality of information taught, the delicious foods, the sounds healing/chanting, the accepting and nurturing atmosphere, I could go on.. The love emanating from all attendees was PALPABLE towards the end. I felt on cloud nine for days. Molly's Chakra workshops are incredible, I highly recommend!!”

“I’ve had this on my Gainesville Bucket List for some time but never could seem to fit it in my budget. So when my bf workplace chose to hold their annual Christmas party here I was excited. We were greeted by Michelle and she offered us complementary sangria. It was very well balanced with the fruity aspect to alcohol. Probably one of my favorites I have tasted.
Our cooking class was a dedicated demonstrated cooking class taught by Michelle the owner. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her business. She walked us through briefly what she would make : a bruschetta , lemon vinaigrette salad , herb oil linguini with eggplant and zucchini and for dessert a vegan chocolate cake with raspberry compote. She got started and would direct us through why she did things a certain way like salting bruschetta right before serving it,
since it draws out their moisture, which makes their flavor more intense.
It was a fine evening and I loved the ambiance of the budding. So much history behind but still preserved to this day. Definitely recommend for team building activities.”
“Had an amazing experience. Me and my girlfriend was very pleased with the service and the activity. Who would’ve thought throwing paint could be such a serene experience. Definitely will recommend this place to family and friends.”
“Outstanding Service from Paige at Skate Station Funworks!
I just had the most amazing experience at Skate Station Funworks, and it was all thanks to Paige! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, making us feel welcome right away. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and it’s clear that she truly loves what she does.
Paige went above and beyond to ensure everyone was having a great time. Whether it was helping first-time skaters feel confident, keeping the rink lively and fun, or providing top-notch customer service, she handled everything with professionalism and a fantastic attitude. She was incredibly patient, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
It’s rare to find someone who brings so much positivity to their job, and Paige is a true standout! Skate Station Funworks is lucky to have such a dedicated and hardworking employee. If you visit, make sure to say hi to Paige—she’s the best!
Thank you, Paige, for making our visit unforgettable! We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Definitely a hidden gem in Gainesville! And breakfast is a must! I recommend staying in the separate cottages. You should also take the free bikes for a stroll to a park or brewery :)”
