“My dogs are like my children and I am extremely protective of them and picky about the care they receive. I'm always very nervous about who I trust with them. I can't tell you how quickly Newberry Animal Hospital Spring Hill location has put my anxieties at ease. They not only have given my dogs phenomenal care for 2 years, they are extremely kind, informative, and understanding to us humans too. My dog Luna was abused by her previous owner and was taken in as an unplanned rescue by me and my now husband 3 years ago. She was destroying furniture, chewing through steal crates, ripping up carpet, shaking and whimperimg nonstop, etc. From day 1. Through confidence building with us by training, and the amazing care plan with Dr. Kimberly Hall, Luna is a well behaved and BRAVE dog. Dr. Hall was amazing at advocating for Luna and educating us as well as trialing different treatment options until she found a perfect fit.
I could go on for hours about this place and Dr. Hall. The whole team is so sweet and I will never take our dogs anywhere else. You will find your home vet at Newberry Animal Hospital Springhill.”

“Our 8 month old rescued Cocker Spaniel had previously gotten care at NAH and we experienced our first visit. It was a top notch experience, at all levels (facilities, vet tech, doctor and staff). We got a detailed visit notice emailed and needed a medication pickup. The staff helped us administer first dose and even offered that we can come back if we run into problems. I am super happy and will continue his care there.”

The care from the veterinary team was top notch as well. Their love of animals is quite evident. Also, the cost was quite reasonable. Free first visit? That is so generous! I am soooo very happy I found this place for my dog.”

“I’m incredibly grateful for Gainesville Animal Hospital and the fact that they have two convenient locations. I usually take my dog, Clifford, to the West location, but when he needed urgent care on a day they were closed, we were able to visit the East location, which operates as a walk-in clinic. We were seen quickly, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
Clifford had a badly infected paw, and it turned out to be a spider bite from one of our walks. Dr. Raymond Sujdek and his amazing vet tech team gave him immediate attention and provided the thorough care he needed beyond what I could manage at home. They were so kind, attentive, and professional throughout the visit.
I also really appreciated that they were able to board Clifford for the day after his appointment, which allowed me to run errands and pick up the additional medical supplies he needed.

“I was informed that there was a holistic approach to add to my senior mastiffs issue with his arthritic hips. I met with one of the Vets and she was wonderful with my furr guy. He tolerated the acupuncture well. I’m just trying any and everything to make his last lap comfortable”
“Took my dog in for a possible CCL injury. After the examination, they were able to do the surgery the same day. IVS was great! The surgery was successful, and my dog did have a complete tear of his CCL. I can't say enough good things about the staff at IVS. I hope we never need their services again, but if we do, we'll definitely be back.(Update) Having had 7 dogs over the past 20 yrs (and just back in Dec 2022), my dog which had the TPLO done at IVS has made the fastest recovery of all of them. Simply amazing. I strongly recommend Dr Neihaus with IVS.”

“Our girl Arya had end stage liver failure that wasnt caught by any vet we took her to. Spent about 15-20k between blue pearl Gainesville and Tampa and a couple other vets to not get any definitive answers and proper treatment plans. We were hesitant to bring her here because of the reviews but our overall experience was great. She didn't make it and we had to put her down because she was too far gone but the staff and vets were all amazing. They found out exactly what was wrong, was extremely compassionate, and very reasonably priced compared to other vets we took her to. Will 100% bring our other dogs there in the future.”

“Our rare and wonderful Seppala Siberian Sleddog Lady underwent major surgery removing tumored left kidney and spleen , malignant left adrenal gland, and partial removal of liver cancerous tumor. The surgical team, techs, and staff all outstanding. She is now in continuing care with UF oncology for the bit of liver tumor that could not be removed and monitoring for possible other cancers. They’ve given quality of life and hope for our treasured fur family member.”
