O'Reillys sold me the part, but their guys couldn't do the replacement in their parking lot and limited tools, so they sent me to Lightning. LIghtning was happy to perform the service as well as a tune up of the car. They gave a good estimate, and then they called me when the work was done and an assessment of other services overdue. I'd happily return.”
“Took my car in for the first time the other day. I went in for an oil change, but I noticed that it was leaking oil. They looked at it promptly and they told me all It was was a loose oil filter and they fixed it. Nice to find a company that is honest. I'll be coming back a long time customer.. I highly recommend them 5 star. FYI if anybody has a Range Rover or a Land Rover They work on them as well. That's what brought me to them.”

I have been working on cars as an amateur mechanic for 20 years, so I am very experienced and Knowle able on knowing how to pickup BS and/ or lying when I see it. And I can tell you even most of the mechanics you think you can trust, you can't fully, they either try to game you just a little bit on work or they just are not very detailed thinking and/ or pro-active in the approach to maintenance.
I have taken my car to Matt and his team on 3 occasions, each time he has not only been 100% honest, but also tries to when he can take that extra above and beyond step to take the best care of you and your car, today in 2024 this is business trait is almost an extinct.
My car also has a ridiculous amount of modifications to it, most mechanics justifiably remove or accidently break some of them, his team went so out of their way to reinstall them for me, and didn’t break anything.
I have had several mechanics work on my cars throughout the decades, some great, many liars/cheaters and/ or some just plain dumb in car maintenance.
Taking all the metrics into consideration, he’s the best I have ever been lucky to discover and have work on my car.

“Discovered a nail on the shoulder of my tire, which I knew couldn’t be plugged. Needed to get two tires to match. They took my Ranger right in, same day, and gave me a great deal on tires and labor. Waited maybe twenty minutes at most. No sales shenanigans either. Very busy place, but they find a way to get things done.”

“Yovani does great work and is an absolute professional at what he does. He offers a range of services and if you own a Cummins or have a 68RFE transmission, this is absolutely the place you need to go. After my torque converter went out on my truck, I needed an upgrade and I needed my truck back badly as I tow dump trailers for my business almost every single day with my Ram 2500. He got me a completely built transmission in my truck and running 4 DAYS after I dropped it off, PLUS adding a coolant bypass and fixing a rear main seal oil leak. Truck is now running cooler temperatures then ever before and shifts like butter. Would recommend this shop to anyone with a truck similar to mine or a diesel in general.”

“While driving on 275, on our way to our son’s graduation in Miami, our minivan started flashing “check system” — not something you ever want to see on a long roadtrip.
Somehow, the stars aligned for us. The flashing light happened right before the exit — and when we pulled off the highway, the first shop we found was Proctor’s.
Long story short, the kind folks at Proctors were able to, in less than five minutes, diagnose our issue and give me an amazingly fair price to have our alternator replaced.
Beyond that, knowing we had a graduation to attend that same day, they jumped into action and told us they’d have us back in the road in two hours.
The phrase “the kindness of strangers” is so undervalued. The folks at Proctors made what could have been a horrendous experience into something manageable. They did so with kindness and care. Their price was more than fair — far less than I had anticipated. The speed in which they acted to get the car fixed so we could make graduation — I just have no words.
I cannot more highly recommend this shop. I’m so very grateful for their service.”
