“Havn't been to a Ractrac in a while, but coming to this one reminds me why I like them.
Fully stocked shelves & fridges. Very well lit, clean and spacious. Bathroooms were freshly cleaned and fully stocked as well.
Only issue & a mild one at that, there were 5 pizzas on the hot bar and they all look old and dry. No biggie, got a sandwich from the cooler.
Not a fan of selfcheck, but they have 3 if thats your thing. I would guess unless you need cigarettes or ringing up beer. Gonna have to get in line for that.”

“Love shopping at La Placita Mexico Supermarket. They have a huge selection of Caribbean foods, meats, vegetables, and fruits to choose from. They also have a full meat and seafood section with butchers on site.
The many times I have visited, the store has always been well stocked, and the prices are more competitive than other local supermarkets. My only concern is that the aisles are very narrow and tight, which can cause delays getting through the lanes when it is crowded. They definitely need a larger establishment because the store is always busy.
Overall, I highly recommend shopping here — just be patient during busy times.”

“Came into the store tonight after saying goodbye to my family to return over the road so I was already depressed and heartbroken… there was the sweetest most kindest lady named Martha… the absolute sweetest lady I have encountered in my 8yrs over the road! There were a few customers ahead of me.. all from different walks of life, one had long dreadlocks and gold teeth, one had a crispy clean fade with curly hair, one bald, one elderly.. she treated every customer with the same soft and gentle tone! I wish every pilot had someone like her.. I guarantee you her manager won’t even be surprised by the review. God bless you Martha! You made me feel so much better tonight.”

“This pharmacy was my 6th stop of the day looking for one that had my son’s ADHD medication in stock. This is a very busy pharmacy and I waited in line for probably 15-20 minutes. The girl who waited on me wasn’t particularly friendly or patient but given the amount of people in line, she was quick and efficient. She checked with the pharmacist and they had the medication. She told me they would have it ready around 7 pm and called for the next customer. I went on google maps to drop a pin on this location so I could get to their phone number readily, and saw the horrible reviews. I instantly regretted leaving the prescription there, but I went back in and asked another girl to put my phone number on the prescription in case there were any problems. She was very accommodating and nice. She might have been a pharmacist. Within an hour they messaged me that the prescription was ready to pick up. I was not expecting much given the previous reviews but they had the meds in stock, they filled the prescription in a reasonable amount of time and contacted me when it was ready. This was a very busy pharmacy and I don’t feel they were understaffed. There were at least 5 or 6 people working. I don’t expect rainbows and flowers at a pharmacy visit and I do expect to have to wait in line and pick up the prescription later at a pharmacy that is this busy. I would definitely go back to this pharmacy.”

“WOW! What an amazing store for the community of mothers and families in the WIC program. I’ve been in Davenport/Haines city for a little over 7 years and only recently becoming a mother I’ve seen Mom and Me in passing but I thought they closed down until I realized they just switched locations.Heads up for first timers like myself today, it is not a traditional set up where you can leisurely shop. They have all WIC items, produce both chilled and frozen available in store and I assume more in the back as the lady grabbed oatmeal from the back, so while the set up seems like a small selection I think they only have so much on display at once but fear not any items you don’t see they likely have.For frequent Publix shoppers like myself.. I will say you won’t see a lot of the WIC brands that are available in their stores here (you may find a few) but there is no pressure to buy all your WIC items here, they basically go down the list, you tell them what you need and they grab it and pack it all for you! With my photos for reference all the produce I bought today was a total of $21. I would say their produce prices seems to not be much of a difference to Publix I would say the apples and oranges were reasonably priced. The Oranges along the onions were a little blemished but I will see how they hold up.I was very happy to have the option of sliced cheese as I usually can only get the blocked cheese at Publix which I was never a fan of. Having sliced cheese will be easier for me to prep things like grilled cheeses for my little one! I got 2 packs that equal to the quantity of cheese I’m eligible for so I found this to be worth it and I will certainly come back for that!All in all a great store! I am unsure if there are more like this but I think there should be as it’s wonderful for the community and it helps us busy moms be quick with our grocery trips! There’s less embarrassment or mishaps with major grocery stores especially when stores are constantly changing eligible items but say “WIC doesn’t approve it”. So if you want a stress free shopping experience I’d highly recommend paying a visit. Also huge bonus they helped me take my groceries to my car!! That was such a huge help, so thank you very much. I look forward to visiting again soon :)”
