“The Matchett family provided great help with my new Generac generator and new 250 gallon propane tank. The helped with the permit and inspection to get everything on line.”

“When we tried to use our 10 cent off status, the app. wouldn't work but the cashier helped us & we finally were on our way. She said some others had the same issue & she was able to help them too. She was very nice!”

“This is the best place to get fuel in Hawthorne and truly trust you're getting "non-water down" premium aka regular like some other gas stations in the area. Also I have yet to get Diesel with water in the tank. Jackson's is the place to fill up and the only place I will fill up my vehicle.”

“At first glance it appears to be small and possibly uninviting... please don't let that stop you from giving them a chance.Fuel prices are great, the staff was very friendly and the store was clean.”

“This store is ALWAYS clean and well lit. I can't recall ever seeing any trash scattered around the Shell station property. I couldn't say the same of the now defunct marsupial across the street (aka Kangaroo). I really wish people would stop throwing crap out of their cars into parking lots. I'd like to feed those littering people to the palmetto bugs! Owner Danny (& family) have always been super friendly and accommodating while delivering exceptional value considering the location & type of business. I always feel better about any business transaction when the people I'm dealing with are appreciative and treating me more like a guest (no not another annoying customer!) Contrary to popular belief, there's very little profit selling fuel (for the small business owners anyway) , maybe none when a credit card is used. It can trash a small business's cash flow too. The gas is consistently cheaper than in Gainesville, the quality is very good ( I used to test gasoline daily). I never found more than 5% ethanol content in the 87 octane fuel, the specific gravity always dead on (indicative of being fresh and clean). The owners set a great example of how to succeed; offer and deliver goods at fair prices, & treat the customers as well or better than you'd expect to be treated. This is why they survived and the corporate store across the street bled out financially.”
