“Usually, people only write bank reviews when they're annoyed or in a hurry. But I just had to share my recent experience. The local branch had been closed for a while, so I was surprised to see it open again. I popped in just before they were about to close, needing urgent help and not really expecting much since I was flying out the next day. But they were amazing – they booked me in for an appointment straight away, no fuss. The whole team was super helpful and friendly, especially Lanny, who was fantastic. It was such a refreshing experience.”

Even though my task at the bank was very simple, she truly went above and beyond to help me not only in the original task, but to help me in further ways as well so that I'd have an easier time doing bank-related tasks in the future. This demonstrated full consideration on her part. She was also very patient and dedicated towards the customer's complete satisfaction.

I was very impressed with her level of care and skill with respect to helping customers feel attended to. There were very specific things that she did well, like taking care to address the customer by their name throughout the conversation, and making sure that the customer didn't feel like something might've been their fault if some step in the process didn't work, and helping the customers to find alternatives towards achieving the goal.

I had a very pleasant experience at the bank, and highly recommend Gigi's services to others for her willingness to go the full mile when it came to helping an everyday customer with an everyday request. 6/5.”

I hold all my business and personal accounts - the customer service is unmatched. From the moment I walk in, I am greeted with friendly smiles and top-notch service. The staff is always eager to help and I never feel rushed. Ivarsan, the branch manager, is very knowledgeable, especially when I have questions about my business accounts. Christina, the assistant manager, is amazing as well. She has called me on many occasions if there was any issue with my accounts. They are not just my bankers, they have become like friends. Most banks today are increasingly digital with limited face to face contact. Flagstar retains the traditional values of a handshake and a friendly smile. I am a lawyer and refer my clients there knowing they will be in good hands. If you are looking for a bank that treats you like a VIP, this is the place to be! Highly recommend - five stars!!”

“I understand the complaints that people have with the drive thrus to deposit their check in the bank or to pull out some cash for other reasons, but the ATM in front of the entrance to the bank did wonders in doing both. It’s a well maintained system that it’s another alternative to a drive thru atm and still as fast as inserting cash into the ATM on car.

The customer service in the teller desk is very welcoming and professional, I never had a fuss about the people being unprofessional or rude. Same can be said with the employees who assisted me in opening my first bank account and they too were very nice, especially a lady that assisted me. They weren’t just telling you to make an account just for the sake of it, they were willing to help you with opening an account with ease without risking yourself in getting into certain errors. They will instruct you what to do with your new account so to get a better idea of how to build credit, and to develop your portfolio of how to do finance in the secure way. But this is the point of view of a College student looking for an easy start with banking, to avoid developing debit and running low on money.

I am certain that there should be some improvements with the bank, but I had a pretty decent experience with the bank.”

He had great customer service. While other banks asking for this same letter they are taking 20 business days to send it to me.”
