βWe happened to be in the area when we spotted Ollie's. The store was clean and organized. They had already received Christmas merchandise our local store didn't have.β
βThey are a closeout store so their product selection is always changing. That being said, they always have a great selection, fantastic low prices and a friendly staff.β
βJust want to say i appreciate the most pleasant attitude and warm welcome.Purchased the wrong dongle for my IPhone, the cashier on duty this morning made it easy to return & exchange.β
βThis location is always, always clean and tidy and very well stocked. They don't always have what I'm looking for but 9 times outta 10 they do. Staff is friendly on a wide range, but even when they're minimally friendly it's still way more friendly than the Eau Gallie location. That store is always so empty, or leaking/smells.β
βA nice store, for what it is! Very full and very well lit inside. The store is clean. The staff on the floor are alert and they care to help you. A great experience and it's an added boost to the day when you come in to a store and they treat you well. Plenty of fresh candy for stocking up to give to trick -or-treaters .... They have cold drinks including energy drinks and beer.β
βFriendly employees. Wish was like the one on whickham road MORE selection but, this one does well. Clean. Great location. Convenient for beach goers. Next to a Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie and other small businesses.β
βThey have a wide variety of goods. A frozen section, a refrigerated area and of course canned and dried goods. They have party stuff and housewares too.
They also have over the counter medicines.
It is amazing all that Dollar General carries!β
βAs a newer building on South Patrick Blvd , IHB it's very clean & big with plenty of everything you'll need. They love their customers, very friendly to all. The plus is getting In & Out in no time.β
βTheir decorations are nice but some are made cheap. They do have cool things around the holidays. The staff is so kind and always wraps my stuff. They have great people working there!β

(A couple of the others, in Palm Bay, are dirty, from the moment you step in the door, onto their dirty entrance mats, and floors, with very low or no stock of many items. ?)β
βDollar General is a good place to go if you don't want to go if you don't feel like going into a large grocery store to pick up basic supplies. They offer low prices too. My only complaint is that it only keeps a limited amount of the flavor Gatorade Zero I drink, while other flavors are in abundance. If you see that a particular flavor is constantly out or only a few on the shelf, you would think they would place a larger order to meet customers needs.β
βBig lots is my go to place for items I may not be able to find elsewhere. The associates are always friendly and helpful and each time I visit I find something I didnβt really need but catch my eye. The store is quite accessible and tidy even with the shelves being stocked. Check out is quick. Donβt forget to be a member for all the great benefitsβ
βVery friendly staff here. Plenty of selection and the prices are a little lower than other stores. You can pick up snacks, cleaning supplies, and just about anything in here at lower prices than other retailers. Good store.β
βI love this store , itβs the customer service for me . Lamar the cashier is the best . He was able to assist within the self check out and the cashier line at the same time by himself very impressive. Lamar has a positive attitude all smiles and up beat energy. I gave this store a negative review when it first opened and Iβve since deleted that review based on Lamars customer service. Thanks for hiring such an awesome individual.β
βDollar general is my latest jam! Love this place. They have great items for great prices plus their app makes it super easy to stay up to date on deals and redeem coupons. I've never been great with coupons but the DG app makes it so freakin easy, u can't forget. Love itβ
βHelpful and friendly staff. Clean and well stocked. Nichole was very friendly. She helped me find the ingredients I needed for my dinner and suggested I add another spice for the recipe. Kids loved it!β
βI went in and was greeted by a friendly cashier,she welcomed us to the store and even assisted us in fi ding some items that we didn't see, we brought a bunch of stuff and she smiled right through service. It was a great experience shopping there. I don't remember for sure but I think her name is (Jennifer) great customer service I'll be back.β
βManager Gil at Babcock and Waco dollar general is absolutely amazing. Our husky got out and made his way all the way down to this manβs store. He took him in fed him , gave him water and kept him safe until I was able to get to him to pick him up. Thank you so much for being so kind Gil you truly are amazing!!!β
βWeekend Evening Staff is great but the store policy is quite insulting. I was told to put my backpack at the counter? Do you tell people to put their purses at the counter.? Do you think people need a backpack to steal? Not sure what your reasoning is but I can't trust a business that doesn't trust its customers.β
βDollar General has updated their stores. They also have cute decorative rugs, picture frames with cute saying on them. Cute simple. Personally I would rather shop here then Walmart. But just like anywhere else you have to compare and watch how much you spend. lake Washington store has huge cold and freezer section isle are set up to where u find what u need.β
βI would like to give a shout out to one of the Dollar General staff, who goes by the name Sky. He was kind, courteous and super helpful. He even went out of his way to help us get an online coupon to help us save a little bit of money. The reason I'm giving a 4 start review is because the other Dollar General staff was nasty when I returned the bathroom key.β
βLove this Dollar General! I get most of my seasonal and home decorations from this location. So many cute things at a great price. Joy is wonderful to work with. She helped me with my rug purchases. She's super friendly and helpful!! Thank youβ
βJust pick up certain items at DG a couple times a month. Some items have a better price than Walmart, but most are higher.
Use the coupons and shop on Saturdays. Saturday coupon is 5 dollars off if you buy 25.00.
Don't forget to check the size of the item. Price may be .50 cents less, but item may be 4 ounces less.
DG used to cost less than Walmart, but now DG has changed the size of packaging.β
βThis is the best Family Dollar store in Melbourne, FL. The employees are exceptionally customer focused, friendly and helpful. Every time I'm in this store and can't find something, the employees cheerfully walk me to the place to find what I'm looking for. Other stores I shop at employees are far from friendly and just tell you what isle to go to. Shopping at this Family Dollar is always a great experience because of the helpfulness of every employee. I've found items in this store you can buy for $1 that are sold at other stores five times the price. Family Dollar generic cold, allergy and medical supplies are as good as name brands. You can't beat the prices found at Family Dollar on most items. And most products I buy are available most of the time when shopping. I've been to other dollar stores and none of them are nearly close to the great shopping experience at this Family Dollar. The employees make this store the best shopping experience every time I shop. I love this store!β
βA very clean and tidy store has an extensive selection of items, clothes, and electronics. Everything seems fairly priced. The store is pretty big, and it is organized well to be able to browse. There are bathrooms available as well as changing rooms to try on items.β

βIt was very clean and when someone walked through the door without a mask the cashier asked him if he needed a mask because that's what we do here he said oh yeah!
