Grocery Stores in Islamorada, FL

“Clean, brightly lit, and oddly designed on the exterior (looks like a bunch of condos). I lived in FL for almost 20 years and have been to multiple Publix locations, so I can freely say that making subs is really hit or miss. This was a miss. The chicken tender sub is awesome when it is done right. The tenders were cold, dry, and very little buffalo sauce was used. We were there at near peak dinner hours, so it was disappointing as I hadn't had one in a few years as I moved out of Florida. Our other shopping was fine, but Snapple, Arizona, and other teas are located in the chips aisle, not the soda nor water aisles. No mention of it on the signage above each aisle. Kind of an oddity. Staff are always friendly and helpful.”

“Stopped by the Trading Post and grabbed a lemon bar by the cash register—absolutely amazing! Perfect balance of sweet and tangy with a buttery crust. Didn’t get to try the key lime pie, but if it’s anything like the lemon bar, it’s probably worth a taste next time.”

“This store was a hidden gem on our vacation. They have a small meat counter in the back that had the best beef I had ever eaten. I purchased ribeyes, filet and ground beef. The staff is super friendly. My son had the Key Lime Pie and said it was the best.”

“I was so nervous going in here after reading all the reviews regarding the rude employee, but thank goodness I did!! The employees were incredibly kind and welcoming! Perhaps management saw the reviews and took care of the issue. I don’t know, but the cuban sandwich was delicious! I will let say, though, that the portion was HUGE! I got 3 sandwiches at $15 a piece for 3 people. When I saw her beginning the prepping I knew I had messed up! ? One sandwich will literally feed 4 people! We will have leftovers for dayssssss!”
