“Amazing locally owned Bazar with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fresh meat & produce, any spice you can think of, tea from every continent, and snacks from your favorite country. There’s a new food court that has fresh desi food, coffee, & Turkish sweets and they are all phenomenal. Not to mention everything in the grocery store and food court is halal! Add in a clothing store, jeweler, barber shop, and an Afghan bakery, this Apna Bazar has everything you need. Love this place and wish them all the success in the world ??.”
“They have amazing sourdough bread (round and baguette). Other breads are great too. My wife knows a lot about bread — she makes bread herself and talk about it for like an hour (texture, taste, type of flour, level of sourness, etc). She has very high opinion of the bakery at this Publix.”
“They have a pretty good selection of Asian food. From fresh fish to fresh vegetables to bottled sauces and necessities to dry goods, noodles, frozen foods from many different countries. The service, is pretty much like average Filipino supermarkets and so is the atmosphere. The store is pretty crowded though. It's a little bit difficult to find everything they just have so much stuff.”
“It's a neighborhood Walmart. It carries some of the same things as a regular Walmart but is primarily a grocery store. There is a pharmacy as well. Prices here will generally be better than Publix or Winn Dixie but you won't have as wide of a selection of products as you would at a grocery store. I prefer to buy meats at grocery stores; I think they are better in quality than Walmart offers. If you need the basics or staple meals, this is the place for you. The pharmacy is good, has convenient hours, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is also a good location to puck up larger items like toilet paper, paper towels, cases of water, or kitty litter. Parking is plentiful and easy access from Atlantic Ave or San Pablo.”
