La Salsa Market is a well-regarded oriental market in Jacksonville, offering a wide selection of Asian food. The store carries everyday fresh fruits and produce, fresh seafood from MayPort, and a comprehensive oriental grocery selection. This includes candy, snacks, dry goods, frozen goods, all kinds of noodles, all kinds of rices, and products from many different countries such as the Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Burma, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, and Korea. Shoppers can find fresh fish, fresh vegetables, bottled sauces, necessities, and frozen foods from many different nations. The market is known for its fresh food items, including fresh blue crab, topneck clams, salmon head, and squid, which make it very convenient. They also have ready-made food to take home, including lunch items and bakery products, and carry special items like moon cake during festivals. The store has undergone positive changes, appearing more organized with new shelves and racks, improving the shopping experience. It is noted for amazing customer care and a great selection of seafood. While the atmosphere and service are described as pretty much like average Filipino supermarkets, the store is often pretty crowded and packed, and it can be a little bit difficult to find everything because they have so much stuff. Despite the crowded and really small space, customers enjoy the variety, the prices, and the location, describing it as a supermarket for oriental dining. It is suggested to visit at the beginning of the weekend when additional fresh food items are on sale. The market is responsive to requests, expanding its product range to include more specific items like Indonesian seasonings.
We have been going here for many years, price is good! Friendly owner & staff. You can find very authentic seasoning, veggies, snacks and they do have fresh market (mayport shrimp etc.)

Fun little place. I stumbled in here by chance, and ended up leaving with several things I didn't even know I needed. Very happy I found this place. If you're in the area stop in, you're guaranteed to find several things you'd really didn't know you needed, but you actually needed really bad...

Nice store. I went looking for moringa leaves. They didn't have any but the Patel Bros on Baymeadows have them.
