“I’ve bought a lot of cars, and I’ve never been treated this well.
PJ and the whole staff at GW are rockstars. My wife totaled her Expedition last month and our twin daughters are getting a little older so we truly don’t need that much space. I happened upon GW through Autotrader. We ended up purchasing a LWB Range Rover from GW with PJ handling 100% of all the behind the scenes stuff. It was seriously show up, get paperwork and drive home. I have a good friend who manages a large dealership group out of Nashville and he was even surprised at how smooth it went. It’s literally the Ron Swanson method, you have the car I want, I have money you want. Let’s meet and exchange. It was such a great experience that I’ve been beating myself up for a week to convince myself not to buy the blue SVR that they have listed. I don’t leave reviews, ever. But I felt compelled to let everyone know this crew is the real deal. They better be glad I’m retired and live 4 hours away, otherwise I’d want to work with them. The facility looks like it’s a car TV show set, cleanest, most professional, yet laid back place I’ve been in. But back to PJ, one of the best guys I’ve met and I wish him and everyone at GW all the success. This, boys is how you do business. I’ll be a customer as long as the doors are open.

To whom it may concern:

For two years now.....two years, I have been a loyal Emerald Executive Elite member. I have actually rented from National every day for two years except for my vacations. Due to my loyalty, I accumulated and earned many free days. Having said that, my wife and I planned a 32-day vacation, using my free days. I was told by a National Representative that the maximum number of days was 7, so the only way to do it was to make 4 or 5 different confirmations or contracts. I actually spoke to a supervisor to get all of my confirmation numbers. The first confirmation, 1510321744, was from October 17th through October 24th, for a total charge of taxes of $23.95. My second confirmation, 1510321812, was from October 24th through October 31st, for a total charge of $23.95. My third confirmation, 1510321898, was from October 31st through November 7th, for a total charge of $23.95. My fourth confirmation, 1510321951, was from November 7th through November 14th, for a total charge of $23.95. My fifth confirmation, 1510322006, was from November 14th through November 18th, for a total charge of $14.59. All of these free days (32) shows that only taxes would have to be paid. Again, I talked to a supervisor in order to get all of this paperwork done correctly. The 32 day total would have been $110.39. Due to several circumstances, we had to turn the car in early on Sunday, November 3rd. When checking out, I was told that the total was $580.94. I informed the agent that it was incorrect and that I was using free days, so he directed me to the manager at the window. She (Alexas) told me that I would have to call the National office to get it straightened out. I have since made at least 7 calls, with several hours of conversation, with no help in getting this issue resolved. Everyone......managers, supervisors, etc. continues to tell me that the maximum free days that I could use was 7. On Thursday, October 24th, I received an email telling me that my car was due to be turned in to the Jacksonville airport. I immediately called and informed an agent that I was 500 miles away and there was no way that I could do that Again, October 31st, I received another email stating that I needed to return the car to the Jacksonville airport. I. AGAIN, I informed them that I was 500 miles away. He then extended the rental for the total time, to November18th and said that it would not be a problem, just turn the car in when upon my return.
Let's go back to the top of this, where I started. A SUPERVISOR DID ALL OF THE 5 CONTRACTS FOR A TOTAL OF 32 FREE DAYS. My wife and I are fortunate enough to drive two brand new cars.....I didn't need a rental, except for the fact that I wanted to use my well- earned FREE days that I have accumulated over the past two years, or most of them would expire at the end of this year. Again, after many calls and hours of conversation, no one has been able to resolve this problem. My total should actually be $110.39, based on $3.42 per day of taxes ($23.95 per week), not $580.94.
This is one hell of a way to show appreciation for someone, again, who has rented from National for two solid years. I NEED SOMEONE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. If needed, I have all of the emails of the information and confirmation numbers above. Bottom line is this. I would not have rented a car from National, using my EARNED free days, if I thought that I would be charged for it!!!”
