“I took the Woodworking 101 course. It was everything I was expecting. Learned about wood, how to use many tools and got to use every one of the tools the class covered. John, the instructor is very knowledgeable and a great news instructor. I highly recommend this class and can’t wait to sign up for other classes.”

“I was looking for a store to sharpen garden tools and called around to many stores. Oceanway Hardware was recommended. I called and received a competitive price. It took me a week to visit and I’m glad I did! This really nice, tall gentleman (Raymond-owner) walked out and made us feel welcomed. He listened to what we needed and his brother had my tools sharpened in about 10 to 15 mins. As we were waiting for tools to be sharpened, Raymond engaged us in a wonderful conversation on the history of the hardware store. The customer service we experienced was excellent and we plan on visiting again along with recommending to our friends!”

“August 2025: Rip off prices are creeping in to Harbor Freight! I recently purchased a PITTSBURGH™ 12/120V, Dual-Power, 120 PSI Inflator with LED Light for $44!!! There is no way this small item is worth that much!! Looks like a Trump trariff kicking in to me!! Gone are the days when shopping here automatically meant lower prices!!! Time to shop around or buy used.”

The focus is on vehicle accessories such as hitches and tiedowns, an array of small tools, small trailer tires, small motors for pumps, various generators, toolboxes, and thousands of other things. Not nearly as overwhelming as the big box stores, but perhaps not quite as satisfying in many categories either.”

“I had an issue with an online order not being delivered on time. Contacted the customer service number provided, as directed via email a couple of times and was unable to resolve the issue. Some how I found myself transferred by customer service to the store. That's when I had the pleasure of speaking with Mason, one of the managers there. He was extremely professional and personable at the same time. He spoke to me with genuine empathy concerning my delay of delivery, and though it was not his fault he took ownership and responsibility to address and solve the problem with a sense of urgency. My delivery then arrived within just a couple of hours (after I had previously waited 4 days for a same-day order). Thank you Mason for going above and beyond to assist me!”
“Ace is the place. I had an odd project i was doing. And I needed the Ace man to grind down a bracket. He did so quickly & expertly. Saving me money by not having to buy a tool that I'd use once. So, I spent that savings while i was there. I explained what I was doing. He came back with a suggestion that I never thought of. Saving me much aggravation and lots of time. “Lots of good stuff, and I was greeted warmly when I entered the store, but when I needed help finding stuff in the aisles, no one was around. The aisles were sufficiently wide and not blocked with lots of displays. When I did find someone to help, he pointed me in the right direction and helped me realize the store location in the Lowes app on my phone was set incorrectly.”
