“I took the Woodworking 101 course. It was everything I was expecting. Learned about wood, how to use many tools and got to use every one of the tools the class covered. John, the instructor is very knowledgeable and a great news instructor. I highly recommend this class and can’t wait to sign up for other classes.”

“I was looking for a store to sharpen garden tools and called around to many stores. Oceanway Hardware was recommended. I called and received a competitive price. It took me a week to visit and I’m glad I did! This really nice, tall gentleman (Raymond-owner) walked out and made us feel welcomed. He listened to what we needed and his brother had my tools sharpened in about 10 to 15 mins. As we were waiting for tools to be sharpened, Raymond engaged us in a wonderful conversation on the history of the hardware store. The customer service we experienced was excellent and we plan on visiting again along with recommending to our friends!”

Customer service is impeccable. Ryan the store manager will treat you like family, and do everything in his ability to make sure you get what you need and leave happy. He will take the time to explain how any item in the store works to you as he has a great amount of experience. The brother is hard working and has heart of gold, and is the prime example of what a manager should be. He leads the store with experience and warmth, making shopping here an enjoyable experience. If anyone needs to go to a hardware store for anything, make sure you come here first. Would give 100 stars if I could.”

The focus is on vehicle accessories such as hitches and tiedowns, an array of small tools, small trailer tires, small motors for pumps, various generators, toolboxes, and thousands of other things. Not nearly as overwhelming as the big box stores, but perhaps not quite as satisfying in many categories either.”
“I ran night shift in a powerplant here in Jacksonville almost 20 years ago , Anything we needed Brian got it to us I even saw him and his wife delivering tools to us one time around 2:00 in the morning. “Ace is the place. I had an odd project i was doing. And I needed the Ace man to grind down a bracket. He did so quickly & expertly. Saving me money by not having to buy a tool that I'd use once. So, I spent that savings while i was there. I explained what I was doing. He came back with a suggestion that I never thought of. Saving me much aggravation and lots of time. Ask Ace they know they're stuff.”

“Lots of good stuff, and I was greeted warmly when I entered the store, but when I needed help finding stuff in the aisles, no one was around. The aisles were sufficiently wide and not blocked with lots of displays. When I did find someone to help, he pointed me in the right direction and helped me realize the store location in the Lowes app on my phone was set incorrectly.”
