Hall's Nursery & ACE Hardware in Jacksonville is a hardware store and plant nursery on the Westside, offering a local store vibe. It specializes in plumbing and electrical supplies and is noted for its excellent customer service. The staff are described as many, helpful, intentional, knowledgeable, and nice, providing a refreshing alternative to larger stores. The plant nursery has a wide selection including shade trees, citrus trees, vegetable plants, flowers, shrubs, and palm trees, though some customers wish for a wider variety. The store also features a gift shop with a vast selection, competitive prices, and practical hardware items like bulk nuts, bolts, and screws. Customers enjoy perks like free popcorn and find the plant department great with items that are too pretty to pass up.
They always friendly staff, they always have whatever obscure thing I need, I’m always quickly in-and-out because it’s not the size of a football field, and 2 of them are closer to me than either of the “big” stores. Love it!
