“First time here and I got what I’ll call a little carnivore haul. I spent about $48 and I think I got a lot. They were out of the beef bacon and the beef ribs were a little much for just me (the package was $50 and it was two racks) so I didn’t get them. I will return for sure. Nobody really around to help you, but I was there first thing in the morning so they were busy I’m sure.”
“Second year having our venison processed here and I couldn’t be more satisfied. They don’t hold a candle to anyone else in town. I did not grow up eating venison and didn’t like it until we found this place. We drive an hour to get there and it’s so worth it! Always packaged so neatly and just tastes really good.”

Just one bite and you know that you are definitely eating the best, short of raising, killing and eating your own meat! Best the Best Prices in at least two counties! We pass on the grocery chain stores meats, never know where they get thier meats from. Can't say enough to emphasize that Houston's is always the best Meat/Butcher Shop in Jacksonville.”

“There are limited meat options as I thought it was more of a carnicería. The prices are decent and the restaurant attached to it is pretty delicious. The staff is very nice. I would recommend for Latin food needs when it comes to spices and cooking sauces over shopping at Rowe's as this market is less expensive for those items. This store is very similar to El primo”
