Navy Lodge Jacksonville is a wonderful and cozy place offering great value. It provides very clean and decent-sized rooms, some with a nice kitchenette, and the grounds are beautiful. The staff is consistently described as excellent, friendly, courteous, and pleasant, making interactions smooth. A nice breakfast is included and served daily. The lodge is noted for its quiet atmosphere with not much traffic noise and its close proximity to attractions in the area. Guests should be aware that the base is very spread out and not walkable; having a personal vehicle is essential as there are no rental cars, Uber access, or reliable taxi services on base. Overall, it is great accommodations for an overnight or short stay.

Our first time staying here was wonderful! The staff and rooms are great. We stayed in the Family suite. We traveled with our dog and there was plenty of space to walk her. The view of St. John’s River is gorgeous.

Normally good, surprisingly difficult to get housekeeping for a pet room, even when waiting, present, and looking outside every so often to check and make sure signs were down.
Got to the point where I told the front desk and was told I could take my trash out to a dumpster in the woods. Thanks?
