“I had a terrible experience with Amerigas, and was left with no hot water because, over a 22 year period, I had paid a $60 tank rental late, and one other late payment that wasn’t explained well. The co. demanded that I pay for a years gas plus $300 penalty, a thousand dollars, and even then, the co. could not get here for another 3 days. I cancelled my account, and called Griffis gas. The lady , immediately, sympathized with me assuring me that Griffis could get a temporary tank out this afternoon to give me hot water. The men arrived, placed a tank, and will return to complete the process soon. I cannot thank Mel, Keith, and Jr. enough. There are companies made up of people who go the extra mile in a pleasant and competent manner. Griffis Gas is one; Amerigas is not.”

“If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Each and every time I have called, I have encountered the friendliest phone assistance, to start. Then, whenever I have requested a new tank of propane, they have shown up at our home AHEAD of their estimated swap out date and it ALWAYS seems to be in the coldest of weather, when they should be their busiest and backed up. I cannot say enough positive comments about this company!!”

He's super professional, calls before he arrives so the dogs are in the house, leaves everything better that he found it, and always with a smile on his face. I've been super happy with Ferrelgas since they put my tank in the ground going on 9 or 10 years now.”

“I’ve been a customer for 8 years as I inherited a gas tank from the previous homeowners from this company or else I would have just gone with another company to start with. I’ve been on auto delivery since 2021 when I put a tankless water heater in, and didn’t have problems with them filling up my tank until last week. They hadn’t been out to fill my tank since January, and suddenly the hot water wouldn’t turn on. Auto delivery means keep the tank full! We called the after hours number, which they asked if we wanted someone to come over that night on an emergency run or if it could wait until first thing the next morning. Being nice, we said we would wait until the next morning and we were advised someone would call and confirm gas delivery first thing that morning. Someone (Tracy) called alright, not to confirm delivery (which she said wasn’t her department) but to inform me I wasn’t on auto delivery ever because I hadn’t done a soft credit check. My account on the app states that I AM on auto delivery for that tank and I’ve personally witnessed the auto delivery fills ups in the past and did not have to call them to make a delivery, so that was certainly a lie that I was not on auto delivery. The after hours number also stated I was on auto delivery, so Tracy was NOT being truthful. Plus, I’ve been a customer for 8 years with no past due balance, what do they need a soft credit check for??!! Tracy told me she would get back to me about the delivery, which she never did. My husband checked at lunch time to see if the tank was filled, it wasn’t, and then called them up as well. He was told they’d call him back, and naturally they didn’t. Then he called again after lunch and got Tracy. She said she’d get back with him, and proceeded to wait until almost 5pm to say they weren’t coming today AS PROMISED and we would have to wait until Monday. We called the after hours number again and were advised that since our gauge was at 10 (our hot water system won’t run at that level) they would have to charge us $250 for an emergency run on top of the gas cost, for their own negligence in customer service!! That is outrageous and they should absolutely be ashamed of theirselves! We are getting quotes from other gas companies as clearly this company does not want any business. Their mission statement says they strive for customer satisfaction, which clearly is not the case given our experience and judging from the Google and Yelp reviews!
7/11/2024 follow-up on this review from earlier in June. I’ve changed my rating to a 4 due to the wonderful manager Paul Lewis who not only took the time to do research on my issue, but acknowledged I was correct and resolved everything for me. He certainly stands by the mission statement and deserves recognition! I appreciate his assistance and will be sure to reach out if needed in the future.”

“Tai was amazing. There was a lot of hiccups in my reservation that sent me to the wrong location, had everything messed up and almost caused a huge delay in our move. When I walked in I was greeted by the biggest smile and the most amazing help! Being a woman walking into a place like this is intimidating, and being met with such a warm welcome was so well received. It's not often that someone explains things and makes things easy to understand. To say this was my best uhaul experience is an understatement. I love that you have a female GM and one that is so knowledgeable and kind. Very thankful for this great experience. 10/10”
