“I called in at 3:35 on a Monday because my 12 yo cat was showing signs no pet owner wants to see. They were able to get me into the office at 4. From the first phone call to the moments I was walking out the door, every employee showed nothing but care and passion for their job. Unfortunately, I left the office with one less family member than when I walked in. It was her time. They provided honest opinions and realistic options for what I could’ve expected had my sweet girl came home with me. They gave me plenty of time (in office per my request) to say my goodbyes and made the process at quick and pain free as possible for the both of us. My fiance and I gave a dog and plan to switch to coastal vet for her care in the future.”

“We were extremely fortunate to find this vet. My little man was not acting himself and we had 2 different vet offices we were using before finding this vet clinic. Neither of his vets were listening to me just running blood work and telling me he was healthy and fine. When I stumbled on this vet on Google I called and even as a new patient they welcomed up with in a day with a new appointment. They listened to what I had to say and actually put their hands on him and not just run blood work. I was advised to head straight to the ER with him to get MRI. I called back the next day bc the we was inconclusive and a different Dr at this clinic met with me and also actually put her hands on him. Together we reviewed his previous vets reports, the ers reports and she felt something in his stomach area. If this vet just did what everyone else was doing I don't think Devin would be with me today. She was thorough, listened and we weren't just an appointment to her. It's been almost a year and Devin is doing good even with a diagnosis of lymphoma bc these ladies take the time and care even when they are booked to help you. Highly recommend this clinic and staff”

“I have lived in Jacksonville for the past 5 years and up until a few months ago I struggled to find a vet that was conveniently located for me, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable. I took my dog here for the first time back in November due to an emergency. They took her in with no questions asked, and I felt so good about the experience, that I decided to make them my primary vet's office. Now I take all my pets here, and I've gotten better service in just a few months than my whole 5 years in Jacksonville combined. They are addressing pre-existing illnesses, and my pets have never been healthier. I trust the vets and vet techs here completely and I am thankful to have found this office. “The exotic bird hospital is amazing! Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! I brought a sweet canary with a crooked beak (from my work) and the vet did a wonderful job shaping it up! Also, their prices are fairly reasonable for an exotic vet. They also sell bird toys, perches and food for really good prices! I was able to purchase this cage through making a donation, and adopt the canary (and his buddy) from my work! Thanks again Exotic Bird Hospital”

“I cannot say enough good things about this vet! I have to be completely honest, most of the time, I walk into a vet ready not to like them. And I know that's not fair, but way too often vets do not truly care about the animals and just try to guilt you into purchasing everything under the sun. I can tell you, Wonderwood Animal Hospital is not like that! These are some of the most genuine, caring people I've ever met. I've never trusted someone with my animals' care so much. They won me over, times 10! Additionally, their prices are very reasonable and even have some discounts for patients that use their online pharmacy. From start to finish, they were just wonderful. From the receptionist, to the patient coordinator, to the doctor.

“I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Mandarin Veterinary Clinic! Everyone, the girls at the front desk, the vet techs and Drs. Jones and Benson themselves, shows genuine interest and concern for our four-legged family members. The staff always answers the phones promptly, the offices are clean, and the environment is very welcoming!

My husband and I stumbled across the office when looking for a second opinion. We met with Dr. Jones and received a much more optimistic prognosis than we had previously been given. She really took time during this appointment to explain what was going on with our cat’s mouth and provided us with options for treatment. Dr. Benson has been treating two brother cats of ours for several issues and has been so positive and kind the entire time. She’s gone well out of her way to make sure our boys are taken care of, and we are so thankful for all she has done. Without her, we likely would have lost our Noodle and Kimchi – thank you for saving them Dr. Benson!

Between these two doctors and the staff that supports them every day, I cannot imagine a better clinic for our cats. We’ve been loyal patients for years and honestly cannot imagine going anywhere else! The quality of care is consistent, and the pricing is very fair. We absolutely love everyone in the office and cannot say enough good things about this place!!!

“I have never felt urged to recommend vets to anyone. I have had animals my entire life, including almost my entire adult life. None of my dogs have ever been to the same vet more than twice, and never have I ever had all of my dogs (3) at the same vet, they have always seen different doctors at different practices. Dr Cromer changed that for me. From the moment I call and talk to Donna, to the moment I walk out from my appointment, I know that my animals are cared for and I know that Dr Cromer and Donna are going to do everything they can to help me and my pups. What got me in was someone telling me the prices were the most affordable around, which is true- visit, blood work, ear meds, fecal, and urinalysis for under $250? You've got me. But what made me keep coming back? One of the first times I came in was actually for my job in the dog daycare field. When I arrived, Dr Cromer was on his way out the door with vaccines for a pup who was too scared to come in the building. I have never seen a vet care so much about the way his patients feel coming in as I do when I come here. Any time I've been here with an injury, Dr Cromer has me in the patient room and has already taken the dog from me in less than 2 minutes. Every step of my appointments is a step I don't dread. Everyone I've recommended always comes back to me telling me how impressed they are with this practice as well.
I will sing their praises until he retires, and I can only hope that the spirit in this place continues on. For once, pet ownership doesn't have to feel like I'm burying myself in the grave because my dog pulled a muscle. I am forever thankful to this crew”

“Extremely thankful and grateful for the entire kind staff here. They were there for me recently in a desperate time of need. I have my kitty scheduled for her spay and while I’m nervous for the surgery I do trust them after multiple visits with my dog and cat. I know they love animals and are in the field for the right reasons. It can be busy, loud, and a long wait in the waiting room but it’s worth it and they have fair and reasonable costs. You can be seen the same day but appointments are better :)

Spay surgery went 100% perfectly. My baby girl is happy and healthy.”
