βAlways packed, tends to have cheap gas but you need a Samβs club membership. They donβt check to see if itβs yours so you can borrow one from a friend or family member by using their app but it sometimes has issues so proceed with a back up plan.β
βThis kitchen is inside a gas station serving hot food cafeteria style. Decent variety of rices and meats. Arroz con gris is super tasty. They do breakfast, lunch, not sure about dinner. Really good prices especially for 2024. There is no indoor seating, but there is a small standing bar. Mostly designed to grab and go. Good coffee and fresh juices as well. Vegetarian options a little limited but they serve rice, yucca, fried plantains.β

βIt is infuriating to be in line and people ahead of you wonβt move up into empty spots. There is a literal sign to signal open spots while youβre waiting, and without fail there is always someone(s) holding the line. The attendants should be more on top of this and some of them are there and certainly help.β
βMatheson Park is a lovely destination worth spending half a day at. The setting is beautiful and offers a peaceful escape. One downside is that parking can be a bit pricey, but itβs manageable given the experience.
However, it's important to note that after 3 PM, the water levels rise significantly, almost reaching the parked vehicles, so keep an eye on the time while you're there. Overall, it's an incredible hidden gem in Miami that's definitely worth visiting!β

βAlways a convenient place to get a quick snack or bite to eat after a long day of work at the fair. The fact that they are open 24 hours is a huge bonus. The only other place in the area that is open after midnight is the Walgreens. The cashiers are always super friendly and nice to us considering the extra traffic and people that come to the area during the Miami-Dade Youth Fair & Exposition. Itβs not like most of the fairs and only last 10 to 12 days we are there for a month. So there is always extra traffic.β

βI like to go early. They open at about 8:15 AM despite having business hours posted at 6:30. Employees are extremely customer focused and kind. If you go later than about 9:00AM you may encounter some congestion but it mooves pretty quick.β
