“Went to this location for a conference. It’s a well-maintained property with friendly staff all around. My room had a sitting room with a sofa, work desk and TV, then the main bedroom with two very comfortable beds. As a Hilton Honors member, I was able to check in from the app, and even selected my room from a few options.
The breakfast stood out for offering cook to order omelets. The conference rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was excellent!”

“Wonderful resort. Friendly, attentive staff and beautiful rooms. Ms. Vanessa is an exemplary young lady. She is equal parts sincere, compassionate, knowledgeable and kindhearted. I’m grateful for Ms. Savannah as well. My impression was that she loves what she does, and she represents the resort very very well with her professionalism and insights.

“Our stay at the Berkley was really good. We are a family of 5. We stayed on the 4th floor in the end condo by the stairs. It was huge, very clean, quiet, and the view was amazing! My girls took the shuttle to Disney World almost eveyday and they loved it. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Hotel was decent, however I'm giving 4 stars because me and my girlfriend had some leftovers that did not come with silverware so we went to the front desk to see if they had any available. We witnessed the clerk give another guest a spoon as they bought something from the hotel store. When we got to the front of the line and asked we were told they could not give us a spoon because we didn't purchase anything from the hotel's store. After a little push back from us the clerk hesitantly gave us the spoon as if they were doing us a favor. To book a hotel for 6 nights and almost be denied a plastic spoon is frankly ridiculous at any price-point”

“I had a wonderful experience here! The entire night was great, everyone was really nice, and the presence of security everywhere helped me feel comfortable.

But nothing tops the amazing experience I had in the dungeon with the rope guy, Scarecrow. I had never done anything like that before, but the scene he made with me was the most incredible thing I've ever felt. I'll never forget it as long as I live. He made my visit so much better and worth every penny of it. I hope to see him and his ropes soon again as I plan to make more trips to the resort.”

“An Impressive African Themed Resort
My wife and I and two adult children went to visit Disney and chose to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House for this trip. Jambo House was built first, with 900+ rooms. Just down the street is the other part of this resort, the Kidani Village, which is all villas. Both resorts sit on savannas, three for Jambo and one for Kidani. The Jambo savannas surround the lodge and it’s so cool to see such a variety of African animals right outside the patio doors of your room. Jambo House is big. When arriving at the Lodge, you drive up a small hill to the front door area. Do not plan to unload your bags and bring them to your room yourself. This is pretty much set up for bellhop service. They will bring your bags to your room. There are several very large parking lots for guests close to the lodge, or use the valet service at the door. The lobby is impressive to say the least. African motif, four floors, a thatched roof looking arched ceiling and some of the most impressive hanging lamps ever. There are numerous sitting areas with couches and chairs to sit and take it all in.

Check in was very smooth and easy. Lots of walking just to get to our room and the hallways seem to never end. Our room had two queen beds and for the short time that we were in the room, it was fine. Nice African decor with in room Keurig and mini-fridge. We had an outdoor terrace with a few chairs to sit and watch the wildlife. As instructed by the bellhops, we were to remain in our room until they arrived and they showed up a few minutes later. There are numerous places to eat in the lodge and I wrote another review of the Boma Buffet. We found a little grab and go place in the lodge that stays open late on the pool level that made small flatbread pizzas that were surprisingly good.

During our stay, we met several workers, who came from Africa, that had set up small educational stands. They spoke perfect English and their strong accent was so cool to listen to. One day we learned about animal dung. Really? YES! Set up like a game, they explained how dung from various animals is used for different purposes in Africa and how vital it was for these animals to remain plentiful for people there to survive. On another day, we learned to play a very simple game, Mancala, which is very popular in Africa. I guess this was the predecessor to Xbox. Wonderful, pleasant, personable staff.

This resort is very far from the theme parks, but transportation via the Disney bus service is top notch. Buses for the various parks arrive and depart regularly from stops outside the lodge. Signs are very clear on where to wait. Likewise, when leaving any park, signs and bus markings are very clear and easy to understand. No problems with getting around and no need to drive a personal vehicle from place to place and find parking. I strongly recommend the buses.

Not wanting to use the bell staff on departure, my son went down and grabbed a luggage cart and we took our own luggage out to the car which I carefully positioned along a curb just short of the valet/bellhop only lanes at the front door.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House has that Disney magic. It transports you to a place far away where you can relax after a day of park hopping, try unique foods and meet some great people.”

“Stayed at an Air BnB on the resort. Was good time. A little disappointed that the construction projects were behind and never got to use the slide for the 9 days we were there. Prices were a little on the higher end but overall a great atmosphere.”

“We stayed at the hotel for 15 days. The room was very clean, and housekeeping was done every two days. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the parks and also to shops (right in front of a 7-Eleven and McDonald’s). We would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

“Stayed here for 5 nights. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms were large and clean but the 2 main pools are noisy with music, there is a quiet pool though. Enjoyable stay!”

“Hotel is high-end and definitely a great experience whether you're alone or with family. Went for a business conference and the the venue was large enough to accommodate thousands of guests. Disappointed by the room I was given as it was pretty basic and overlooked the lobby entrance. Definitely heard a lot of cars coming going honking and slamming doors all day and night. If I had gotten a better room, I probably would have rated the hotel higher. Unfortunately, the room I was given was my greatest disappointment. Oh, and spending the whole trip being worried the snakes would get out of their cages was not super great either. But there are snakes and crocodiles in this hotel if you're cool with that.”

“My wife and I took our twol kids (5 and 3) for a week and we had a great experience. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo was clean and much larger than expected. kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the pool and the slide for the couple of days we stayed at the condo for the day. Very close and easy to get to all the disney parks and had lots of good food and cheaper than in the park gift shop options very close by. Customer service was very friendly and quick to respond the one time we did have a small maintenence issue and we all enjoyed the free popcorn!”

“Small World Castle is a fantastic space for kids to play, explore, and enjoy themselves in a safe, welcoming environment. The staff is kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about working with children. Everything is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. My child had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended for birthdays, weekend fun, or just letting the little ones burn off some energy.”

“? ? ? ? ? Also known as Calypso Cay Resort, this is a very well managed and maintained vacation property where everyone is in a good mood, and why not! They have pools for kids and pools that adults might prefer. The landscaping is breathtaking and the colorful sherbet colored homes make it a treat for the eyes. It’s quiet, a real plus for those who like to read but bring your headphones to enjoy your music or podcasts you’ve been meaning to get to. Guests here also get to use the facilities at the Holiday Inn across the street. That’s where you can find a minimart at the front desk, it’s open 24 hours as well as a cute Tiki Hut where bingo is played on weekends! (it’s also a great place to sit if you would prefer to be in the shade , there are even barbecue grills nearby to use! And the woman who calls the Bingo has a great personality!) I do wish that they called out the Bingo in English and Spanish as they do at other resorts. So much fun that way!

The greatest part was meeting the manager ? Claudia, she has a terrific staff that really understands the value of making every guest feel seen. Every single morning her and her staff are eager to help always with a smile and they seem to all really like their jobs. There are carafes by the front desk of the Welcome Center filled with fresh ice water to keep you hydrated. There’s also a vending machine to get sodas. I am a big fan of Puerto Rico ?? and Runaway Beach Club matched PR in its hospitality!

At night ✨ I was so happy to be in my safe, spacious and super-clean apartment. Everything I could want was there! I am so glad that a friend invited me to be her guest! This is a very calming place that allows you a great night sleep, a Haven away from the crowds.

“Stayed here over the weekend for a groundbreaking event I had planned. Beautiful, newly-remodeled property!! The on-site restaurant overlooking the lake was serene and the surrounding village-style square with additional restaurants and night life was so fun. The entire hotel team was so incredibly friendly: from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant, I feel like I arrived for work but hung out with friends! The rooms are very reasonably priced, especially considering how close the property is to Disney. On top of that, the rooms are some of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in—clearly well maintained and cared for. The property itself is quiet and peaceful, which makes it easy to relax after a long day.

“Rooms were very nice. Sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on. Room was by back gate noisey at night with cars coming in. Neighbor above was loud and stayed up late. Large beautiful pool and hot tub . Great work out room and game room. Market place store in lobby had everything plus made food. Had a fantastic bacon egg and cheese croissant and milkshake.
Location was great. Service was fine if you need something you call front desk and they bring it to your room in a few hours. We washed our own towels but you can get fresh ones if you want. We do our own cooking and cleaning for the week.”

“Amazing hotel, pool, gym, but one thing is the food... $100 for 3 people to eat breakfast buffet... and the meals alone the price doesn't match the quality and quantity of food. We end up at Ihop and those where huge portions. The pool with the slide was awesome kids had a great time. FPV pilots there is a bando at walking distance and I suggest ripping before its all gone.”
