They have three different bars, live music, a gorgeous sculpture garden, and a second-floor outdoor pool that feels like a hidden escape. Everything about this hotel feels intentional and elevated. Perfect for a staycation or a night out. Highly recommend if you love great design, atmosphere, and energy.”

“A great location close to the outlet malls and the theme parks. Very nice sized rooms with a key west type theme to the property. If you have children this is a great location due to the pirate pool (heated) and all the activities for them to enjoy.”

“The room (sink) was dirty upon admittance and took over 24 hours for them to come clean it. My husband ended up cleaning it and it was pretty gross. The TV was also broken but they quickly replaced upon request. The amenities are hard to beat for the price. They charge up front $50 for incidentals and $25 per night for parking.”

This is charming, relaxing, boutique hotel tucked in SoDo that has a (surprisingly) lively neighborhood restaurant, well-sized rooms (the call them 'cozy,' but they are not small), a decent fitness facility, and free parking if you book direct. While not super close to the parks, if you are in Orlando for other reasons, this is an excellent choice.

Pro tip: if your room faces Orange Ave., you might want to pack some ear plugs. The traffic noise is noticeable.”

“We didn't stay here but visited while staying at another property. Walking around the boardwalk is so much fun and is so cute. I love the idea and theme. It wasn't crowded at all and was easy navigating through it. It's central location is great to get to Hollywood Studios or Epcot on foot. You can also walk to several neighboring resorts to visit and check them out. I hope the location continues to flourish as I saw several shuttered businesses. However, the new Cake Bake shop is gorgeous and has yummy treats, but be ready to pay $15 for an iced coffee with no add ins and the coffee is just OK. Aside from that, if you want to take a nice walk away from the busy parks, this is a great place to do it.”

“The rooms are nice and modern also cozy. The service is amazing clean beds and rooms. Bathroom had some visible marks and liquid on the toilet seat. Our rooms looked out to a fire house which was pretty noisy. The market in the hotel is very overpriced but overall a good hotel for the price.”

“Loved staying at the Portofino Bay! It’s definitely pricey but you can’t beat the location. You can just walk right over to Universal Studios/Islands or take the boat over. Both great options. The rooms are nice and spacious with very comfortable beds and includes basics like shampoo, body lotions etc. There are a variety of restaurants available, it was late when we got back so we just ate at the deli. Food was just ok but we got to sit outside and enjoy the nice lake view. Grabbed coffee nice and early along with some breakfast items at Cafe Espresso and we were able to start our day. Everyone we encountered was very nice as well. This will be our go to place for Universal going forward.”

“I stayed here for 5 nights for my company’s conference (which was held onsite) and every aspect of the stay was phenomenal, especially the people. Everybody was so kind and professional and went out of their way to help - even something as small as Ronaldo getting one door for me while I was moving my luggage then running ahead to get the next one. They were also able to acciónate last minute when all of our travel plans were disrupted by a weather event at home. I was so impressed!”

“Playing Bay Hill has been on my golf bucket list for years, and I finally had the chance to experience Arnold Palmer’s legendary course in Orlando. It completely lived up to the hype and then some. From the moment you arrive at the property, you can feel the history and prestige. The staff is welcoming, professional, and genuinely makes you feel like you are part of the Bay Hill family, not just a visitor passing through.

The golf course itself is nothing short of spectacular. Every hole feels thoughtfully designed, challenging yet fair, and the conditions are pristine from tee to green. The fairways are beautifully maintained, the bunkers are strategically placed, and the greens roll fast and true. It is a true test of golf that rewards smart play and punishes careless mistakes. Water comes into play on several holes, and the layout forces you to think about every shot, which makes it incredibly rewarding. Standing on some of the tee boxes knowing the PGA Tour’s best face the same challenges during the Arnold Palmer Invitational gave me chills.

Some of the signature holes really stand out. The par 5 6th hole with its sweeping curve around the water is one of the most exciting risk reward holes I have ever played. The 17th, a par 3 over water, is both intimidating and beautiful. And finishing on the 18th with the clubhouse in the background feels iconic, like stepping right into golf history.

Off the course, the lodge and amenities are top notch. The clubhouse has an old school charm that reflects Arnold Palmer’s personality, with plenty of memorabilia and photographs celebrating his legacy. The locker room and practice facilities are first class, and the restaurant serves excellent food with great views of the course. Even if you are not playing, it is a wonderful place to relax, have a drink, and soak up the atmosphere.

What struck me most was the overall experience. Bay Hill is not just about playing a round of golf, it is about feeling connected to the game and to Arnie’s legacy. The combination of history, challenge, and hospitality make it a truly special place.

In short, Bay Hill is a must play for any golfer visiting Orlando. It is a course that challenges you, inspires you, and leaves you with lasting memories. If you love golf, it does not get much better than walking the fairways where Arnold Palmer left his mark on the game.”

“This is our second time staying at this hotel. We stay on the Rock Level and we find it worth it. A short walk or boat ride to city walk is fantastic. The hotel is very clean with a great pool area and friendly staff. If you are going to the Universal Parks this hotel is definitely worth a look. Great vibe here for adults and kids!”

“Absolutely loved the resort! It has rock climbing, kayaks and paddle boards, pickleball, bicycling, incredible pool and hot tubs, kids splash, water slide - all included as part of resort amenities. Great location and beautiful decorations too (we went during Christmas).”

“This is by one of the best Hilton Grand Resorts. The quality of service is high. The security is tight and polite. You can always count on the rooms and pool to be impeccably clean. They are very attentive to any requests. The landscape is beautifully maintained and lovely for pictures. You must take one by one of the fountains. I highly recommend them!!!”

“We overall a good stay! The staff are attentive, helpful, and they make sure you are having a great stay! The rooms are very clean but there were a couple of areas in our room that needed some attention and updating. It wasn't a big deal bur there were two minor issues with our bathroom that I let the front desk know about and they were taken care of when we returned to the room later that day. Housekeeping refreshes the rooms on a daily basis which is nice. I only got coffee each morning but the breakfast looked to be decent. The pool was refreshing and kept clean! We were in town for a convention and it's a short drive to the convention center. Seaworld is also across the street and easy to access! The location is quite and is a really nice area. I'd return when in Orlando!”

“I loved my stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando Near Universal. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I also loved seeing that it was pet friendly because it made the hotel feel welcoming for everyone, and it definitely made me miss my dogs at home.

The staff here were some of the nicest people I have met so far while staying at hotels. Some seemed a little shy at first, but as soon as you talked to them, they were extremely kind, gentle, and helpful. I even gave positive feedback to a supervisor I met in the elevator because the service really stood out to me.

The breakfast was fantastic. I loved that they had two egg options, egg bites and an egg patty, instead of the typical soggy hotel eggs. These were actually tasty. I also appreciated that you could use real plates and silverware both in the room and at breakfast.

My room was huge, and the kitchenette was so convenient. The bed was clean, the pillows were extra comfortable, and the TV worked well, which is honestly a bigger plus than people realize because not every hotel has nice TVs. The property also had great views and a nice overall layout.

The only thing I would change is removing the carpet in the elevator, because it had a smell from people and pets. Other than that, this was a 5/5 stay for me. Next time I come to Orlando, I will absolutely stay here again.”

“Great hotel. Everything was clean and in a safe and convenient location. Close to the action but still quiet. Good place to get a rest. DoorDash and uber eats delivers to the rooms, but there is also a restaurant in the hotel and a Denny’s within walking distance. There is a free shuttle to the universal parks, but we did not use it as uber was only $5-10. Staff were all very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.”

of the staff I ran into were friendly. Interacted with the front desk the most. Shoutout to Roman for the great service. I didn’t get the name of the housekeeper supervisor that offered to open my door for me while juggling breakfast food for two to our room. The room was nice, wasn’t expecting a dining area and a lounge chair. Will definitely be back!”

The rooms are so nice, well appointed and spacious. Location is convenient to restaurants, attractions and UCF. We felt very safe in the area.
