“10/10 — Absolutely Exceptional The Wave Hotel was easily one of the highlights of our trip. I was extremely impressed from the moment we arrived, and I can honestly say I have ZERO complaints. The service was impeccable, beginning the moment we pulled up. The concierge staff was exceptionally attentive. It seemed like every time we turned around, someone was asking, “Do you need any help?” “Can I help you with your bags?” “Is there anything I can assist you with?” or “Would you like me to park your car?” They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We never had to search for assistance someone was always there and ready to help. Our room was absolutely spotless, and the views were spectacular. We stayed on the ninth floor, and our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides along with a balcony. The amount of natural light and the views made the room feel incredible. And the bathroom? It felt like a high-end spa. The toilet alone was impressive it had a heated seat, bidet, lighting, and a lid that automatically opened when you walked in. The entire bathroom was beautifully designed, luxurious, exceptionally clean, and honestly one of the nicest hotel bathrooms I have ever experienced. Room service was also excellent. The service was prompt and professional, and the food was very good. Everything about our stay felt elevated from the concierge service, cleanliness and design of the room to the spectacular views, amenities, food, and attention to detail. I don't give a 10/10 lightly, but The Wave Hotel absolutely earned it. I have nothing negative to say about our experience. Nothing. I would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, upscale hotel with exceptional service. 10 out of 10. No complaints. The Wave Hotel exceeded my expectations.”

“Great service, nice facilities and rooms. Pools great and very kid friendly. Even though the resort had a lot of rooms, it is pretty easy to walk everywhere. Rooms are huge. Shout out to the security team John and Xavier who were able to find my laptop I left behind and get it in the mail by the next morning!”

“I guess I am torn... do I give away this 'best kept' secret in Orlando, or keep it to myself? This is charming, relaxing, boutique hotel tucked in SoDo that has a (surprisingly) lively neighborhood restaurant, well-sized rooms (the call them 'cozy,' but they are not small), a decent fitness facility, and free parking if you book direct. While not super close to the parks, if you are in Orlando for other reasons, this is an excellent choice. Pro tip: if your room faces Orange Ave., you might want to pack some ear plugs. The traffic noise is noticeable.”

“Every year for several years now I have stayed at the Rosen for a week. The hotel management is outstanding. Angel was my bell hop for my visit this year. He did an excellent job ensuring my room had everything I needed. This year I had a medical emergency during my stay. The hotel manager came to my room and stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. And he followed up with me after I got out of surgery to make sure I was okay. They definitely go above and beyond to provide that personal touch to each guest. Every year I stay at the Rosen for the Spa services. Before my medical emergency I had the pleasure of enjoying a massage, reflexology, facial, and scalp treatment. From the wonderful staff to the amazing spa you can’t find a better place to stay in Orlando.”

We are coming to town for an AAU volleyball tournament in June, and Fernando went above and beyond to help us with an upgrade to our room. Fernando was genuinely one of the best people we have ever worked with at a hotel. He made us feel welcomed, valued, and taken care of from the moment we spoke with him. “Went during Labor day weekend and it was busy at check-in There was a little mishap with our room after check-in but it happens and Andrea up front made everything right and even checked up on us the next day to make sure everything was enjoyable, which it was. Dinner at Bull & Bear was good, my only complaint would be that our steaks took forever to come out after we were done with our appetizers (40mins+). I was expecting this to be like Bern's Steakhouse after all the hype but it lacked the timing and care. Definitely put a little hamper to our enjoyable dinner.”

The hotel is very clean with a great pool area and friendly staff. If you are going to the Universal Parks this hotel is definitely worth a look. Great vibe here for adults and kids!”

“If this place had decent pillows and bedding we'd probably stay here often. The pool is lovely, but extremely noisy because of the waterfalls. The cave hot tub is great, but has the same noise problem. The room was really nice and the shower was exceptional. If they would turn off a few of the pool waterfalls (maybe three of them), and replace the pitiful wafer pillows and skimpy bedding, this place would really be just about perfect. Also, they need to police better the kids jumping off the rocks and using the hot tub unchaperoned.”

The rooms are always clean and well put together, which is great for our family since we use the kitchen to cook. We don't mind booking here by the airport even though we're visiting our daughter at UCF because of how well the hotel is run and the overall vibe.”

“The rooms have amazing views! My only complaint and it is really minor is parking. When you come in, there are two options self parking (cheaper--free if you eat at a restaurant) and valet (about 60.00USD or half that if you ear at a restaurant). I prefer self parking and usually it's not an issue but when we went, there was signage everywhere to park at Ritz Carlton and then walk over. For me, it's an easy walk. I had my elderly mother with me and for her it is too difficult of a walk (even in air conditioning). My friend staying there said the self parking was not closed (signage said differently) and we could have parked in self parking. If there was a way to accommodate people without the higher cost of valet, it would be amazing”

“We stayed at this hotel over the weekend as we were in town for food and wine at Epcot. This location is great, close to I4 and local restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff was super nice. We were able to check in early and Missy at the front desk was super helpful in getting us different pillows as ours were flat. The tiki bar and fire pit area is great and Phil the bartender makes the best cosmos. A really nice way to wind down after a day a the parks. Will definitely be back.”

“We overall a good stay! The staff are attentive, helpful, and they make sure you are having a great stay! The rooms are very clean but there were a couple of areas in our room that needed some attention and updating. It wasn't a big deal bur there were two minor issues with our bathroom that I let the front desk know about and they were taken care of when we returned to the room later that day. Housekeeping refreshes the rooms on a daily basis which is nice. I only got coffee each morning but the breakfast looked to be decent. The pool was refreshing and kept clean! We were in town for a convention and it's a short drive to the convention center. Seaworld is also across the street and easy to access! The location is quite and is a really nice area. I'd return when in Orlando!”

“I loved my stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando Near Universal. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I also loved seeing that it was pet friendly because it made the hotel feel welcoming for everyone, and it definitely made me miss my dogs at home. The staff here were some of the nicest people I have met so far while staying at hotels. Some seemed a little shy at first, but as soon as you talked to them, they were extremely kind, gentle, and helpful. I even gave positive feedback to a supervisor I met in the elevator because the service really stood out to me. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved that they had two egg options, egg bites and an egg patty, instead of the typical soggy hotel eggs. These were actually tasty. I also appreciated that you could use real plates and silverware both in the room and at breakfast. My room was huge, and the kitchenette was so convenient. The bed was clean, the pillows were extra comfortable, and the TV worked well, which is honestly a bigger plus than people realize because not every hotel has nice TVs. The property also had great views and a nice overall layout. The only thing I would change is removing the carpet in the elevator, because it had a smell from people and pets. Other than that, this was a 5/5 stay for me. Next time I come to Orlando, I will absolutely stay here again.”

A complete waste of materials and the time that it took to open everything. Another group got in my way because I was still opening the wrapper on my coffee stirrer.”
