“I am afraid of needles. I am even more afraid of having blood drawn.To some I am a 72 year old baby, but I have a real phobia called, Trypanophobia.
I am not ashamed I have this condition, and I let everyone know about it when I go for an injection or to have blood taken. And the personnel at Labcorp are wonderful when they hear of my fears.
I was there about two weeks ago, and the woman who took my blood was fantastic. She was kind, sympathetic, and made feel absolutely comfortable. Oh, I failed to mention, when I went two weeks ago, it was the first time in my life I did something alone. I usually go with an entourage of family and friends who give me moral support, rub my back, hold my hand and all say Ah Ah Baby--It will be alright big boy LOL. I went alone to challenge myself and face my fear.
Not only did I survive, it was the quickest, least painful, and least frightening experience (once I was in lab room--I was a nervous wreck in the waiting room) I ever had. All thanks to the sweet lady that took my blood. She was GREAT!
Although I am not crazy about Labcorp's check-in procedure, and some other quirks of theirs, they have the best people working behind the closed doors. I have always been happy in the couple of years I have been going there.”

“So far a really good experience. Fast and uncomplicated. I haven´t had a wait time and the staff is really friendly.
The only thing I have to mention is that the communication with their partners is not the best. I got told (from the partner website) that I don´t need an appointment and in the Lab they told me by appointment ONLY. They took me anyway which is nice but that is something the lab should clearify.”
