Heartland Animal Hospital

2203 US Hwy 27, Lake Placid

Yesterday, around 4:00 p.m. I was desperately calling the local veterinary clinics around Lake Placid trying to get them to see my new little 12 week old 2 pound Tiny Yorkie. She was in a desperate fight for her life! I had purchased her the day before in Pembroke Pines from a local, reputable breeder there. All the other Clinics pointed out that it was close to 5:00 closing time, and also that they had no openings available for her until the following week! I desperately plead for them to see her, pointing out that she would not make it through the night must less the next week! She could not even hold up her head! No One would see her, but finally Heartland Animal Hospital told me to bring her on in! They came out to my car and tested her for Parvo, and thank God she didn’t have that! So they took her inside and finished taking care of her! They saved her life! For that I am truly grateful! I can’t imagine taking my puppy to anyone else besides them! They genuinely cared about saving the life of my puppy, not too worried that it was too close to knocking off time at 5:00! Thank you so much for saving my puppy’s life, Heartland Animal Hospital! The Vet and entire staff was so compassionate!

Drove 45 minutes just to get here. Was not disappointed. 10/10 Beer Quality. 10/10 Beer Selection. 10/10 Service. They also donate to local animal shelters/causes. Do you like beer? Why aren't you here already?

Brick Oven Pizzeria

Best pizza in town as long as you get lisa to make it. Her ten years there have served the brick oven owners well. Great sauce and the garlic knots are outstanding ?
