“I have spent time in Lakeland as I have family in the area, and have seen the hotel many times. This was my first time staying there as a guest. From the very beginning, the experience was excellent. The valet attendant was very nice even after we told him we wanted to self park. He explained where we can park and provided us with a parking pass. He greeted us every time we passed by him. The front desk ladies were also very nice. They gave us a cookie and a glass of champagne for the holidays. It was a nice touch. We stayed in a corner room with a Lakeview. The room was modern, clean, with a nice view of Lake Mirror. We had read reviews about the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. This is true. We could hear one of our neighbors on the phone as well as the ambulance or loud cars on the street. It was not a large negative as we know it is an older hotel. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well! The shower had good water pressure. I only wish the bathroom had more counter space as I have a lot of products ;) but again, not a deterrent negative. We look forward to staying there again. The hotel is also very centrally located in downtown Lakeland, close to small shops, bars and eateries.”

“I stayed on the second floor in a really nice end room. Fortunately also very close to the elevator. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable except for one thing, the air conditioner worked. I have only 3 complaints. One is the strange convoluted way their lights work, and the other is I did not know that they were very high beds. I find very high beds to be quite uncomfortable. You can't sit on the edge of them, it makes it difficult to get into them, evidently they have regular height beds on the first floor. Next time I'm there I will book a handicap room, the toilets in the regular rooms are the lower ones with nothing to help you get off of the toilet at all. No grab rails or anything to grab a hold of to help.

I did not participate in the breakfast or the Monday evening social. But the area looked good and the breakfast smelled great.

Everyone at the front desk was very personable and helpful. My son also stayed at the same hotel And he had a suite that worked out great for his family of five.

Bottom line, if you are young with no problems getting in and out of a high bed or off of a low toilet, book any room you want they all looked great. If you are a little older and don't like high beds, which I can't understand is even a thing anymore at a hotel, because it's absolutely 100% just for looks, and not for comfort. Anyway if you're a little older, book on the first floor where I am told the beds are a normal height. If you need a little assistance getting up from a low toilet, then I would book a handicap room.”

“This hotel is so beautiful and clean with amazing staff at the front desk. The 3 women at the front were so helpful and friendly especially Vernice!!! Her customer service is top notch!
The breakfast bar is 10/10
The pillows were super comfortable as well as the bed. 2 floors had an ice machine on them and a washer and dryer set on the 3rd floor.

The only thing I wish the hotel had was a pool.

The location could be better but it’s not terrible.

I still loved my stay here. I would definitely book again.”

“We had a wonderful stay from March 14 to 18. Martin and Rodney at the front desk were super helpful and gave us what we needed when asked for more shower gel and extra bedding. The room had a enough, we just needed a little extra for a friend who struggles to sleep and they were more than accommodating. The breakfast was good and Rose is a very kind person. Things were running low at 930 on Sunday but when asked to provide more waffle batter, milk, and yogurt she did oblige. I would stay here again everyone was nice and the pool was great too.”

“Clean rooms at a fair price, a decent breakfast, and a nice little pool. The location is a little out of the way, but near I4, so that could be handy for travelers.”

“Nice hotel. Stayed with several families to attend a baseball tournament. Nicely updated, room was clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great stay and would reccomend.”

“Bathrooms have black mold in them in sinks & showers. Use bleach or vinegar to kill . Black mold is dangerous. A bit noisy too many people in parking lot @night.

Rooms: Are clean ,but bathrooms need more attention. Staff is the BEST EVER. Especially Camille, afternoon, evening girl . We love her. Day shift is exceptional,wasn't up for night crew. Cleaning staff was great. Prices were a bit high ,but was a holiday. prices could be better,seeing there are a lot of hotels there”

“Service in general was good. Mathew, however, was great. He represents your company greatly. You should be proud that you have an employee strives to ensure customer satisfaction. I was there form storm support after Milton. He understood that the contractors start early and made sure there was coffee and food out. He was the only that did this . Will stay again.
