“This is a cute little shop in Oakland Park, near the Funky Buddha brewery and the Oakland Park city hall. The shop is mostly a women's lifestyle shop featuring apparel and accessories curated of local and small brands. The owner started this business by selling from an old Airstream back in the mid 2010's. Her success lead her to a brick and mortar store in Flagler Village in the late 2010s and now this larger store in Oakland Park. There are lots of cute items for women and babies as well as home decor and accessories...the men's section is small. Many of the babies clothes are in the $30-50 range, while the men's shirts are in the $50+ range. Great shop, great styles, lots of nice vibrant colors...but many of them in the pastels, pink and beige hues.”

“Love the clothing, the culture, store staff and style, but ordering online and getting the right item shipped to you is sometimes (and for me, typically) a nightmare. I tried not once, not twice, but 3x, and now i give up. first time, ordered a medium, received a large. 2nd time ordered a pink belt, received a blue belt, third time, completely wrong item, not even close to what i ordered. The return process is slow and you must take item to USPS with prepaid shipping labels, a waste of time. The products are nice quality, the stores are beautiful; ordering online is easy; however, their shipping logistics are terrible.”

“Francesca's Collections is a chain of women's clothing and accessory store founded in 1999 by three siblings, Chong Yi, Kyong Gill, Insuk Koo, and their friend, John De Meritt. They opened their first store in Houston Texas and went on to open more stores. In 2016 the company saw a decline in business due to financial factors. By 2020 they had closed stores and entered bankruptcy but in 2021 they launched a comeback and were able to reopen some of the closed stores as well as launch a new concept for teens called Franki's. They are currently operating more than 400 stores throughout the United States.I was wandering around the Promenade and discovered Francesca's near the Cheesecake Factory. Their window display caught my eye and beckoned me in to check them out. I was pleasantly greeted when I entered and left to explore. The clothes are trendy with sequins, lace, and studs. A black ball gown dress caught my eye and it was $150. They have a display up front with the kind of glittery and shiny clothes people favor for holiday parties and New Years Eve. Moving toward the back of the store were more every day clothes but still very on trend. There were a lot of 50 percent off sales and even a $9.99 rack of clothing. Fitting rooms are in the back of the store so you can try on clothes.The clothes were more things my daughter would wear but I liked their inexpensive collection of costume jewelry. They also have a lot of cute gift items including things for brides to be and dog lovers. Based on the amount of people shopping in the store, their comeback has been successful.”

“This is a nice store. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This store has mens and womens clothes and sells pants, shorts, and jackets. It had some $90 jeans and an almost $200 black puffer jacket, which was very comfortable when I tried it on. After I tried on the black puffy jacket I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this Abercrombie and Fitch five stars because it has some nice puffer jackets. However, it’s winter jacket selection isn’t as good as other stores, which make sense considering this is in Florida.”

“I went to Boca Town Center Mall in the hopes of spending my free cash and coupons at Express for some cute birthday outfits and sadly I couldn't find a single thing I liked. I guess I'm getting old lol. Sorry, but acid washed skater pants are just not my thing lol So I popped in Francesca's on a whim and was so glad I did. Their clothes and dresses are so cute! They are not cheap but not uber expensive either, and they have buy 1 get 1 30% off full price items right now, so I found 2 really cute, girly dresses - one to wear out to dinner and one for the beach. They also have lots of accessories, hats, and even some kids clothes and random kids toys and stuff. The girl who checked me out (Mary? Maria? starts with an M lol) was also really sweet and helpful. The only thing that was an issue was a lot of the clothes I *really* liked did not have my size available. Mariana (M? lol) said they could special order something for me but I didn't have the time to wait (nor did I want to come back). But I did find cute stuff and I will return when I have another special occasion (or hit the lotto. Lol) The dresses I picked are hand wash only, do not put in dryer, so I imagine a lot of their other clothes are like that as well.”

“I've seen Citi Trends all over the U.S. but this was actually the first one I've shopped in. They're usually located in strip malls in the 'hood. I guess you could describe this place as kind of like Burlington but even lower prices. Think no frills, small-ish selection of "urban streetwear" as well as accessories and some home goods. Lots of shirts with Bart Simpson on them for some reason, and a decent selection of Rap Snacks. They have layaway, which you almost never see anymore. Big up's to them for that. I was looking for a dress, and I found a super cute one for only $7.99 that I got a ton of compliments on. I'll probably hitting up Citi Trends more often when I see one thanks to this visit.”
