“This Publix is a fantastic grocery for the area. It's extremely clean, well-stocked, and all the produce seemed very fresh. The highlight is the deli that serves a ton of great, quick food options. My only real complaint is fairly inefficient lines which take longer than it seems they should.”
“If you shop at trader Joe's you start to develop favorites. Things that they carry that are proprietary to them or that just seem better than what you might pick up at a regular grocery store. For example, they have some very fine cheeses that you don't see elsewhere. They carry a brand of mineral water that I am very fond of and almost no one else carries it. Employees are helpful and their registers are always manned adequately. They always carry flowers and especially there is a great selection around Valentine's Day.”

The people are so nice and go above and beyond to help you with answering your questions, to taking you directly to an item that you are looking for, to stopping in the middle of what they are doing to see if something is in stock in the back, and just showing that they are about their customers!!
I went there to just try their strawberry shortcake and left with so much fresh produce that I didn't have to go grocery shopping for the week. I spent about $70 on fresh items that would have costed me about $125 in the grocery store! Their selection is nothing like I have ever seen before and I will make the hour trip every other week to stock back up on the things that I need!!
Their bakery section....OH THEIR BAKERY SECTION!!!!! There is everything that you want or need and it was so fresh and delicious!!
Take the drive and definitely GO TO DETWILER'S for all of your fresh produce, bakery and freezer items that you need!!”
“I regularly have a good experience at this Aldi but tonight I felt the service needed to be commended. My cashier, Dyquaris, was super friendly, super quick... not only helpful to me, but also watched him assist an elderly lady in picking up her cane she dropped. Im not surprised by his actions as his attitude is clearly a very positive one for the store and I wanted you to know.”
“Monica is an amazing person to have with your company. My name is Betty and i have been a customer for a few years. Just having surgery, and telling Monica ,she offered to bring my food out and take my payment because it was heart surgery and can’t walk far. Also if i call this store she knows my name and my allergies to onion. She always checks the food before i leave to make sure there’s no onion. She is a very good asset to your companyI will continue to come here because she’s amazing.”

“This store is one of the best Publix I have ever experienced. But a manager named Sarah completely lacks the social skills and respect for the Publix Organization. Almost all of the associates properly greet customers. But this manager is a failure at reflecting the Publix policy of acknowledging and greeting customers. She is not qualified nor does she has personal skills required to manage coworkers if she fails to perform the basic duty of making shopping at Publix an enjoyable experience. Please feel free to reach out to me if this individual has also been unprofessional during your visit to our neighborhood Publix.

“On Saturday 2/14 in the evening I ran into Publix, my 5 year old grandson was coming and I wanted to get a few things for him for Valentines. I was walking around the bakery talking to my husband saying I just want one cupcake they dont have just one cupcake, Aaron says to me your looking for one cupcake? I said yes, he said I might be able to help you, he walked over to the bakery counter spoke to Andy, then turned around and said go pick out the cupcake you want. I was so surprised, so happy that Aaron was listening and stopped what he was doing to help me. I told Andy which cupcake and had one more request, I asked him if he could write a heart on it, he took his time and drew the best heart that he could on this little cupcake. All I wanted was one little cupcake, I didn’t think I was going to get it but because Aaron was listening, and Andy’s little heart on a cupcake, my little Valentines for my grandson was perfect. I want to thank Aaron and Andy for going over and above and I want to thank Publix bakery for being one of the best parts of the store. -Melissa and Oliver Holder”

“First visit March 2025. Lots of options of fresh and dry items. Frozen foods include fish, meats and sweet items. They also have a selection of kitchen items like sake sets, tea pots, utensils, etc. Super knowledgeable and helpful owners/staff.”
“There is not a lot of competition, so a 5 star review is no brainer. Pani puri fixings are frozen, unlike what I'm accustomed to, but a nice treat to have. And my new Ganesh/Ganopati is a nice addition to my dashboard. I'll definitely be back.”

“Stopped in for some charcuterie fixings and Dave in the hot food section helped me and my friend. He was so polite, friendly and funny. When I inquired about the Publix famous chicken finger subs he was very informative. We had already filled our cart so we declined ordering a sub. He went out of his way to find us and offer a sample. The chicken with his mix of hot honey and siracha sauce was AMAZING!
Hold on to this wonderful employee! You dont get customer service like that anymore!”

“I live on the island but often shop st Beachway Plaza Public, because it has so much more, including a Zenshi Sushi chef (who has made special orders for me with briwn rice, when he has some), and the Island Publix doesn't carry many items that I see on sale in the Publix app. Their app is the best (since they fixed it) and I make my list in the app, and at checkout, it applies my saved coupons and rewards, and I get my receipt by email.
The Beachway store staff are very helpful, and have ordered itemsfor me that are out of stock. Check my pictures to see the BOGO sale items. I got rainchecks for the organic, grass fed steaks on BOGO!
The staff at both stores are great - and even transfer when needed.”

“Easy and usually quick shopping here, with many prices even lower than Walmart, including produce. Some items that I consistently come here for are maple bacon, Gen. Tso Sauce, flavored creamers, cold cuts & cheese, raw meats, mostly because of great prices and selection variety. They also have a couple+ isles of housewares; example: picked up a nice pack of large garden stakes. One more item: I get all my stock large paper bags here @ 12cents each, used for my home recycling items, as do many other shoppers.”
“The rotisserie chickens are delicious! They have great cheese varieties… They have numerous organic options, For those of us who like to be extra healthy! I love everything about this grocery store/ health store…. Except for recently, they took away the tables outside, which made coming here a less than perfect experience.

“I shopped here for nearly 20 years before moving out of Florida altogether. The owners were always super kind and friendly. Store is well-stocked with pretty much anything you could need. Growing up in NW Bradenton, it was a super convenient location to ride my bike to. As I got older, it remained a local staple and many late night snack/beer runs were made here. It is an all-around great store. 5/5 stars.”

“JUST .....WOW. what a great place to shop! This store is laid out like most Publix, but it is bigger than others and the selection is amazing. Hands down Publix has the prettiest selection of veggies and fruit. Everything is so clean and the displays are fully stocked. Beginning with the florals all the way around the store everywhere you look is something yummy and tempting. Associates are ready and willing to help. The fresh seafood, meat and poultry counters are large and the prices are competative. I was pleased with the great selection. I have visited this location 3 times since we arrived, each visit has been a most enjoyable experience.”
