“Architectural Salvage is a hidden paradise of quirk and meaning. This store has been my Disneyland since I was in high school, 20 years ago. If you feel stale, and listless, go! Dig through piles of doorknobs, knick knacks and you name it’s. Whether you go there for inspiration, to heal your eyes and brain from technological injuries we sustain on daily basis or to fulfill a crafting desire you just can’t quite put your finger on, this is the shop of delights for you. Why “meaning?” Well, perhaps you need to go to find out!! ???* I have added photos of my art supply dresser which received a quirky update. Good ole’ black chalk paint and mismatched gold drawer pulls from A.S. because why not. Also love my new garden shutters for my journal area. They look so cool in the room in the morning illuminated by just candlelight. ??”
“We ran out of time, and we didn't get here the last time I was in town, which was too bad because it's deceivingly small on the outwide. There's a lot of fun things that will make you smile or chuckle, gifts, and decor. The owner was very friendly, and I felt bad we didn't fimd any must-haves. “For some reason Sandpiper Cottage popped up on my FB page. I fell in love right away after looking at their items online. Luckily it's only 40 minutes away. So, within a few days I went. I fell in love with the place. The art is very well done and looks and feels higher end. I got an idea for my kitchen and within a week I purchased a significant piece. It's perfect in my kitchen. Really finishes off the room.”
“Saw Blossom have been amazing at renovating my dining table, coffee and side tables. They were originally dark brown wood, very old fashioned and now they are modern and look beautiful with a faux marble finish. They came and picked up my furniture and even took the chairs to an upholsterers for the pads to be replaced. I would highly recommend using Saw Blossom for any renovating work needed.”

“I live half the year on Longboat Key and this is my absolute favorite store. At the Chart House location I usually shop with Debbie, the owner. She is excellent at knowing what will work for ones body and knows quickly ones taste. The home accessories feature Alessi and the Italian designs are both sophisticated and humorous. There scarf collection is alone worth the trip and their cashmere doesn't pill and luxurious to wear. The clothes selection is extensive, beautiful and unusual--- no department brands here. Lastly, Debbie's husband creates the artwork in the and it's quirky and executed beautifully.”
