“I love the staff! All of them! They are courteous kind helpful they are a little bit slow when ringing up but taking their time he's there doing their job properly so nothing gets messed up I noticed they all help each other I frequent the store often prices are too high for Dollar general they need to change the name to more than a Dollar+ 5 I'm allowed to bring my service dog in with no problems. The store always looks very clean and organized! Ten stars ?!”
“I purchased a recliner from a different location. When they did not have the chair in stock they directed me to this store. From the second I walked in i was attended to. Everyone from the sales associate, to the manager on duty, and even the gentleman who loaded my merchandise into my vehicle were pleasant and helpful. I will be shopping this location in the future. Attitude and how you treat people matter. These folks are amazing!”

All the employees work so hard to keep the store so well organized and so nice!!! The cashier's are speedy and knowledgeable of their job,.they ring customers up in a timely manner!!! “My Store experience in this location was just like every other Dollar General or there seems to be like a quadrillion Dollar General everywhere which is great because you know when I want to get a soda or I wanna get like a piece of candy or some chips there’s always gonna be a Dollar General around the corner, which is awesome and they’re always very stock. You know they have everything you could ever want. They have toothpaste. I mean, they have all kinds of stuff but look at it. You don’t really have to go to Walmart, Dollar General really You know besides food but I go to Publix for food because shopping is a pleasure at Publix.
I was able to find the item that I needed which was you know a soap dispenser and then I looked over to the left and I saw some delicious ice cream. I couldn’t stay away from that ice cream. It was calling my name so I went and got me a couple of buckets of ice cream. I forget what the flavors were because when I got home, I ate it so quick. I am so glad that there is a quadrillion and hopefully soon to be zillion Dollar General’s everywhere in this whole World . I love Dollar General I really do.”

“My favorite Dollar General!! I do a lot of my shopping there! I have had great service by employees. And I find it the cleanest of all Dollar Generals I have visited! They are getting more help now, which is helping the Manager and Assistant Manager especially when they get a truck full of merchandise. It was impossible for a single person to check out customers and stock the store. I think it works a little better with more employees. All together, it remains my favorite store! Exceptionally well stocked, very clean, and I enjoy the store management's kind assistance and I will continue to do much of my shopping there!”
“Stopped at Dollar General to purchase a few greeting cards and my first impression was positive. This location is one of the larger stores I have been too. Clean, no merchandise scattered and lying in the aisles, organized and well stocked. I was impressed at the huge selection of greeting cards they offer and as always, they are a real bargain and very nice. The nicest and very friendly employee checked me out at the register and wished me a good evening, how nice is that! I believe his name was Vern, thank you. Recommend this location! Debbie”

“Store #21730 on Cortez in B'ville, had it's doors wide open, gotta feel like 100 degree day! Ms. Carolyn greeted me with a big smile but a sweaty brow, NO AIR CONDITIONING. I thought if she can work today, I can shop today. But the heat got to me, I headed for the check out. Ms Carolyn cheerfully asked, "Did I find everything I needed today ?" I replied, actually I couldn't find scissors! She said, "they are in stationery, you wait right here and I'll go a pair for you". Ms. Carolyn was a helpful older sweetheart. I doubt today's younger clerk would even ask a question, let alone go out of their way to grab an item for me in my late 60s!
I hope Dollar General recognizes what a dedicated employee they have and it was my pleasure to be talking a bit with a good hearted neighbor helping me get an item I really needed. Hope that A/C is fixed soon!”
“Was their for just a short list of items, but found some meat marked for quick sale got all 4 will put in freeze until I need, store was well staff, clean inside, parking lot clean as well, didn't take but a few minutes.”
“I go here to get my prayer candles - they are definitely cheaper than other stores. When I'm here I always get side tracked and pick up a few other things, most of which I don't necessarily need but they look nice and are priced reasonably so I cant resist. Have been coming to this location as well as other locations for years.”
“So I have been coming here since they opened. And they have gotten a very strong manager in this store. He is doing a great job and he works hard you see it. He also has a really strong good staff right now from what they used to have. The evening crew are really good at getting rushes through helping. “went in today for a phone charger and when I went to pay with Apple Pay, I realize my phone was dead. There was a very nice man with long hair and a snake tattoo who offered to let me charge my phone until it turned on so I could pay. He was with another woman too, they were very patient with me.”
