“I stayed in a private double room at Viajero Miami and thought it was excellent value for money, especially for South Beach.

The location is fantastic – just a short walk to the beach, Ocean Drive and plenty of restaurants and bars. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities I expected for my stay.

It is a hostel, so do expect some noise into the early hours, but that didn’t affect my sleep at all. The atmosphere is friendly and social, with evening meet-ups that are ideal if you’re travelling solo and want to meet other people.

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay in a prime South Beach location, I’d definitely recommend Viajero.”

“My husband and I recently stayed here and could not have enough positive things to say about our experience. It is in a prime location-right across from the beach and included in your resort fee are the set up of beach chairs, an umbrella and towels. The hotel staff are great, especially Juan, a concierge who took care of us our entire time there. The only odd thing is the layout-it can take a minute to get used to but it did not affect our stay-it was just unexpected. The next time we are in Miami, this is where we will be staying.”

“Rooms are loud because of road noise restaurant was good but service was slow and they’re a little bit overwhelmed. Good food, though overall great experience very close to the beach loved it.”

Pros
- large spacious rooms. Furniture is modern and tasteful

- decent food options and great selection of cocktails

Cons
- this is a very loud hotel. The top floor restaurant and pool area is ridiculously loud. If you will not be able to hear the person across the table or your own music
- service is pretty mediocre at this price point. Staff are very courteous but sometimes disinterested
- the beach is a missed opportunity to offer luxury - - the chairs are rammed together. Sun loungers are basic plastic chairs. It is however pretty quiet on the beach
- there are not enough elevators - on some occasions we had to wait over 5 minutes for one”

“We stayed 2 days at Pestana mid March, and were very happy with our choice. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean, and the pool and common areas were all very nice, especially the pool. We hung out by the pool, and in the little bar, and enjoyed the company of Carolina, the extremely helpful and friendly bartender. We enjoyed chatting with her while she worked. She’s a peach. We also liked the location, close enough to the beach, and on a quiet street. We have no problem rating Pestana 5 out of 5, and would happily recommend to friends and family.”

“i want to especially give KUDOS to Gigi, Julie and Robin....the first two on your registration desk and Robin in the French/Japanese restaurant....they went out of their way and way beyond their job description to make sure that i was accommodated....you train your staff well.....”

“Stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club Pulse, South Beach and it delivered exactly what I needed.

Location is the highlight—walkable to the beach, restaurants, and everything South Beach offers. The property is smaller and more low-key than a typical Marriott, which makes the overall experience quicker and easier.

Room was clean, functional, and well-maintained. Staff across the board were friendly and helpful, with the day shift team standing out—they went above and beyond, even assisting with a wheelchair need outside of their normal scope.

Only two issues: one night the valet wait was unusually long (possibly a system issue), and I was briefly given the wrong vehicle key, which required turning back after leaving. Both were frustrating in the moment, but easy to overlook given how strong the overall service was.

Verdict:
Would definitely stay again for trips where location and reliability matter most. Welcome and friendly staff is a big factor.”

“I make it a point to stay at the Loews Miami Beach at least once a year, and it never disappoints. From the moment you pull up, the experience is seamless - your bags are grabbed before you even step out of the car, check-in is quick and painless, and the front desk follows up via text to make sure everything is to your liking. That kind of attentiveness is hard to find and easy to appreciate.

The rooms are lovely - well-appointed, comfortable, and exactly what you want after a day in Miami Beach. The property itself has a great energy, and the location puts you right in the middle of everything the city has to offer.

For me, it’s the consistency that sets Loews apart. Great service one visit could be a fluke - great service every single visit is a standard. They’ve earned my loyalty, and I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone looking for a top-tier Miami Beach experience.”

“5 stars for location! This place is located right on the popular Española Drive, which is one of the most peculiar spots in South Beach. It is just 10 mins walk from the beach, which was the biggest plus. Parking garages, restaurants, and convenience stores are located within 7-8 mins walk. The Espanola way itself has multiple restaurants serving various cuisines, and the bustling nature of the walk-only road gives a very charming vibe to this location.

We were provided with the double queen suite which faces the inner side of the hotel. The window overlooked all the small buildings nearby dotted with tropical trees including mango and coconut. Reminded me of home (India). The mattresses, bedding, and kitchen were clean. However the floor could have been cleaner with spots of dust in corners.

The service is decent with easy access on chat, however, it might get tricky if you really need some physical support in the room or with luggage off hours. However this is not on a reflection on-site staff but overall structure of the management. The on-site staff was very welcoming and very open to assist whenever we had a chance to interact with them.

Overall, we were satisfied with the stay and would like to visit again if we come back to Miami Beach.”

“This is the only hotel to stay in Miami!! The moment you walk through the doors, the staff are so amazing and friendly. We tried all 3 restaurants and the 2 bars, and every one of them were incredible!! All the staff got out of their way to make sure you have everything you want, and l can't recommend The Setai highly enough!! We stayed for a week, and were very sad to leave, but we ll be back soon!!!”

“The best of the best. Every time I have been to Faena for a show, the spa or even the beach it has been a wonderful experience. The bartenders Gabriel and Joseph (at the living room) never fail to make delightful drinks, the beach employees are wonderful at making us feel welcomed and making sure we have everything we need, specially Dwi and Agusto.Tyler and Wagner at guest services go above and beyond each time! Truly a magical experience. 10/10 recommend.”

“Stayed at The March Hotel Miami Beach for 4 nights and honestly had an amazing experience. The property is clean, elegant, and has a very charming boutique hotel feel. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. The neighborhood felt safe, peaceful, and very walkable, making it easy to explore Miami Beach on foot.

The room was spacious, modern, and very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made resting after long days out much easier. The bathroom was also well designed and stocked properly. I also loved the mini bar selection, nicely stocked with a good variety, which added a premium touch to the stay.

While the hotel does not have a gym or swimming pool, they make up for it by providing bicycles and access to umbrellas and beach lounges on South Beach nearby, which was actually very convenient and thoughtful.

This review would honestly be incomplete without mentioning the amazing staff. The front desk team were always friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. A special thank you to Mili and Victoria, they went above and beyond during my stay. Whether it was helping me when I had issues accessing my room, recommending the best coffee shops and restaurants around the area, or even giving me travel advice for my next destination, they were absolutely wonderful and made the experience much more memorable.

Overall, this is an amazing property with great hospitality, excellent location, and a stylish boutique atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Tony Hotel! The best part about the Tony was the staff - everyone was so warm and friendly, and they gave us personalized recommendations about what to do in Miami. They even remembered us later and asked if we did those things! The location is also great. Rooms were overall ok - they were clean, a good size, but a bit outdated.”

“Amazing staff and that makes up for everything! Breakfast is included as part of your stay . Rooms are comfortable and nu e large bathroom and shower. The Sauna is wow ! Don't miss it ! Lots of activities in bar too , by way of entertainment, bar staff amazing at making cocktails and reception staff go over and beyond to help . I stayed two nights before a cruise and they let me come back and spend the day after my cruise as my flight wasn't until later in the day ! Alvaro was amazing ?

We did bring our 6yo son here- and had the most beautiful and peaceful mornings by the pool ... and delicious meals, bike rides and fun!

From the moment you arrive, the energy is unmistakable. The pool scene is simply unmatched — the iconic pink palette, palm-lined deck, warm water, and live DJs create a playful yet elevated atmosphere that feels like a chic European beach club transported to Miami. It is lively without feeling chaotic, stylish without trying too hard.

The beach club experience is equally impressive. The dedicated beach chairs are in a prime stretch of sand, making it effortless to transition from poolside lounging to oceanfront relaxation. “Nice hotel, but a few downsides. They have no gym or pool. Overpriced snacks and water are on display in your room (on the positive side, they do include 2 small bottles free of charge). The entry to the hotel is challenging to find. You have to come through a restaurant to enter the lobby and the servers always ask you if you need a seat. If you're coming back after hours, the front door is locked, and the external key card reader doesn't work. You have to knock for a while until someone comes out and opens the door. The lobby is tiny, with two chairs by the check-in desk. More space is available but it is in the bar area. The bar is nice.”

“Need more Valets that drive standard. Otherwise the room was super clean, fresh smelling, and super close to everything. I slept like a baby. I loved how you cant hear your neighbors. No thin walls at this hotel.”

“Career F&B here. Second annual visit. Manager William, lead server Julie, bartender Ana, hostess Violeta and the housekeeping staff are consistently warm, engaging, and accommodating. The public areas of the hotel retain that singular Art Deco charm, and the rooms are pleasantly modern. The location at the south end of South Beach is my favorite area; packed with older Art Deco hotel restaurants, nightclubs, the famous News Cafe, and just down from the Miami Art Deco Welcome Center. Also next door to the largest pharmacy/beach store on South Beach. Duck downstairs for a cocktail and a photo with Tony Montana's tiger!”

“We had amazing stay at Waldorf towers ,from amazing staff and management our stay was even more perfect , right on a beach , restaurant literally at the entrance to hotel , we had our morning coffees , lunch and breakfast, everything on your fingertips ,,,,Perfect location for walks , restaurants , shops all you need , we didn’t need a car as everything is walkable , free beach chairs and towels are included and saved us so much money ,rooms newly renovated and super clean , special thank you to manager Robert for accommodating our beach umbrellas , will deff visit again and we highly recommend!!!”

“Stayed at The President Hotel - Miami Beach in South Beach and had a really great experience overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. One of the biggest perks of this hotel is the location — you’re just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by everything you could need including restaurants, shops, nightlife, and convenience stores. It’s hard to beat the proximity to everything South Beach has to offer. The hotel is known for being close to the beach and main attractions, which made exploring incredibly easy.

“Our stay at this hotel was amazing. It was so clean. The location was perfect. We didn’t actually eat at the hotel as we did not include this in our booking but i can imagine the food being just as good. All staff were friendly, especially Philip when helping us to check out. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower and the sink. However, overall an amazing stay, would definitely book again.”
