“Very nice supermarket to make necessary purchases. It is a little more expensive than Walmart, but it has everything you need and more variety of meals made to take away and heat. In addition, it has a pharmacy inside Publix itself, which is accessed through the parking lot.”
“I needed to grab some juice and was in the mood for a sub this morning, so I stopped by this location. It was my first time there and I loved the retro look and feel of the store.
After grabbing what I needed, I went to the deli where Vonna prepared my sub. She was such a sweetheart and recommended that I get the chipotle Colby Jack cheese next time. She let me try a piece and it was delicious. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and Vonna definitely made my day!”
“The best of all the PUBLIX stores. I went when it first opened for a couple of months. I was disappointed because there was no way a disabled person to get up the ramp. I’m not disabled, but I was part of the DISABILITY ACT in 1990 . So, everywhere I go I look, finally since I was near, I stopped. I was more than pleased. It is so roomie. I had forgotten every single aisle was spotless and assorted in a fantastic way employees said hello I couldn’t find a particular product which I knew would be around the PHARMACY and in two seconds she told me the aisle. Check out, cashier and bag young man were excellent. I am glad to say this is my go to PUBLIX.”

“Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with MISTR. It’s a good service that I think fills an important need by making PrEP, HIV/STI testing, and prevention services much easier to access. The at-home testing is especially convenient and removes some of the barriers that can keep people from staying engaged with preventative care.
The service isn’t perfect. Most of the issues I’ve experienced have actually been with the pharmacy rather than MISTR itself, and responses to support requests by text can sometimes be slow. I also wish the pharmacy offered a 90-day supply of medication rather than shipping one month at a time. That would make an already convenient service considerably easier to use.
One thing I particularly appreciate is MISTR’s partnership with local health agencies. A representative from my local agency reached out to me and has been an excellent point of contact, including helping when I’ve encountered pharmacy or other issues. That added human connection has made a real difference.
There are definitely opportunities to improve the experience, but overall I think MISTR provides a valuable and accessible service. Making HIV and STI prevention easier to access is important for both individual and community health, and I’m glad services like this exist.”
