About Budget Car Rental
Budget Car Rental offers affordable prices and well-maintained vehicles, making it a popular choice for travelers. Customers appreciate the good condition of the cars, which often include luxury options like adaptive cruise control and lane assist, and many find the rental process quick and straightforward, especially during vehicle return. However, some reviews mention challenges such as a limited variety of vehicle brands, with cars assigned at the counter rather than chosen from a lot, and long wait times, sometimes lasting up to 45 minutes, due to slow service at the counters. Customer experiences vary; some staff members are helpful and friendly, with one employee going above and beyond by providing upgrades at no extra cost. Conversely, others have described the staff as rude or unhelpful, which affects overall satisfaction. Additionally, there are concerns about hidden charges, notably unexpected insurance fees that can be added without explicit request, leading to confusion or potential inconvenience if not carefully reviewed. Despite these issues, the quick return process is a positive aspect. Overall, Budget Car Rental at Miami International Airport is known for competitive pricing and decent vehicle quality but may benefit from improved customer service and transparency.

Avoid Budget at all costs. They are total scammers. The airport staff are experts at ripping off customers. They add packages without explaining the costs. A $300 rental can easily end up costing $600. It is a low-cost company that makes its profit by scamming customers. I do NOT recommend it. Terrible experience.
