“Great place everybody in there is very friendly all the employees are very friendly they have their regulars that's always a good thing to see..... They put a self checkout in the store recently which was an amazing idea.... There is only one problem with this location and it's keeping the items in stock they're always out of everything now we have to understand that we're dealing with the pandemic and the supply shortage and inflationBut you know there's a lot of Dollar generals around maybe there should be a center of supplies where everything could spread out better because I do notice some times I go to $1 general in groveland and they have like 20 25 6 packs of Snapple Apple that was just sitting there I could see dust on it yet in mineola they can barely keep the Snapple Apple in stock every time I go there outThat's something the regional guy should be doing keeping note in track of the stock of the best selling items and making sure they're spread out evenly throughout the store so everybody can get some or at least stock extra where extra needs to go”

“Your typical lovable Publix! They run out of stuff sometimes but stocked most of the time. They do have a weight scale when you first walk in & they have self checkout. About during the middle of the day though as it gets crowded from the senior community close by.”

“I drove 40 minutes to shop at this butcher and it was definitely worth the drive. I called ahead of time to make a special order (beef fat trimmings) since Publix is not able to sell this, and the staff on the phone was very nice. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted. The store itself is in an older building, but very clean. There is a wide variety of meats available - pretty much everything you can imagine with every cut you would want. They have a selection of grocery items and produce and a deli featuring Boars Head products. When I went to the meat counter to pick up my order, the butcher was extremely friendly and came out from around the counter to hand me my order. I ordered some items from the deli and picked up a couple of ribeye steaks and a bottle of orange juice. The prices of the meats are very reasonable. Less than what you would typically pay at Publix, even with a sale. I made the ribeye for dinner and I will say, it was the best ribeye I've had in awhile! It's a bit of a drive for me, but it's worth it to get high quality meat and I'll be shopping there regularly.”

Today, Barbara in the deli even left me a voicemail to let me know they were out of bread and that she was going to be going over to the bakery section to get some fresh loaves to fill my order. Great service. Costs a little more than other places but they're gonna do it right everytime.”

“This store overall feels like it has fewer selections and space compared to others. It is always clean. The prepared foods are pretty good and some of the sushi seems like they give larger portions. But in general much of the store is more expensive than the ones 10-15min away. Construction seems to have finally finished in the immediate area but heads up, there is still a large dip in the road at the entrance. Parking lot is small. Restrooms are next to the Starbucks and have always been pretty consistent. They seem to operate mostly with self checkout.”

“Food was delicious. We had a cheeseburger and fries, sushi, empanadas, ice cream, milkshake and nutella crepe. All of it was so good. We will definitely be back to try the places we were too full for. The live music was also very good.”

“This is an awesome Walmart! Only problem I was looking for Cotton Candy Chap Stick and the aisle listed said it was on an aisle that really meant it could be on ANY of the check out rows, including self check. I looked, several check out ladies helped me look but I couldn't find one. I was checking out and one of them came rushing over and held up one cotton candy chapstick, the one and only left in the store. All of the employees were so helpful trying to point me in the right direction then a few began helping me look more closely in the area they should be. I highly recommend this Walmart. It's much bigger than most of the ones we see at home in Illinois and on our travels. But most of all every employee that I encountered was helpful and friendly and I appreciated it very much!”

“This is the cutest DG I've ever seen! They have the cutest produce section. I understand esthetics doesn't mean everything, and I didn't buy the produce which is what really matters, but next time I stop by, I'll grab some.I had been to 3 different cities in search of specific straws that I could only find on the dollar aisle and couldn't find them again. I had given up. Until this store.. They had them!The shelves, specifically the soda aisle was almost empty, but I'm attributing that to the fact it's a brand new store and probably didn't get their shipment in yet.It makes me sad that this beautiful store is in Howie-in-the-Hills, and far away from any decent town or city, but I'm sure I'll visit every now and then. “I stay in Winter Park and happened to be out this side for work, and on the way home, I decided to get some breaded wings to take home. While waiting, I also decided to get some deli slices. Jeanette and (I forget her name ?) helped me out. I swear this kinda of customer service should be the standard at every Publix. They were so kind and helpful. Also, the Assistant Manager, Mavrick, was also helpful as he walked by and asked if I needed help . After telling him I was waiting on wings, he walked into the back to check on the order. If I could get this kinda of customer service at every Publix, they would be my main place to get groceries. I hope those 3 are recognised for their fantastic service, and I hope Publix recognises their standout workers. It's rare to see it, and when it's showed it should be highlighted so they get recognition. The 3 half left a large but positive imprint on me. I hope to see them if I return.”

“Publix is always a pleasure to shop at, and I love that this one has self-checkout because unlike far too many other shoppers, I actually know how to use it and use it quickly, so on quick runs, it's a time-saver.This location is still what my family calls the "New Publix" and despite the bakery consistently being out of cookies for kids in the afternoon, there really isn't anything wrong with it. With all the inflation in recent years, Publix charges luxury prices for good stuff, but we tend to purchase our staples at a handful of other less expensive locations such as BJ's, Aldi, and Walmart. Publix always does get a look each week as their BOGOs are what we stock up our freezer and pantry with. Always friendly staff here!”
