“I discovered this shop through Google reviews. My beloved Singer sewing machine that I've owned and used for 30+ years wasn't operating properly. I met Warren and asked him to investigate and give it a tune up. We'll, my dear old Singer was beyond repair (plastic gear cracked, which Warren showed me). I was very sad because I thought all the new machines are computerized and high tech. He told me about the Janome Sewist 721 (and that it was on sale). I told him I had to think about it and discuss the expense with my husband. Warren is a no pressure and straight talking kind of fellow. I did some research and learned about Janome machines. Compared my dead Singer with my backup Singer. Went back to Warren the next day with a list of questions and told him about my sewing priorities. What a patient man he is. He listened to my needs, offered some tips, gave advice/facts. He converted me from a lifelong Singer gal to a Janome gal and I made my purchase. I recommend Warren as a great technician, honest and direct. I will be bringing my backup machine to him as well as my Mom's for servicing. In addition to being an expert on sewing machines (embroidery, sergers, long arms, etc) he also is an expert on vacuum cleaners. I can't afford the top of the line, but i know my next vacuum cleaner will come from this shop. As long as Warren is still there in case anything goes wrong. I have full confidence in him. “BBQ depot replaced my AOG grill. They were prompt and fairly priced. Other companies were charging a fortune for installation and BBQ depot was totally reasonable. They were quick to order, easy to pay and showed up when they said they were coming with a reminder phone call. Their service was impressive and one of the owners actually delivered and installed by BBQ, removing the old one and putting in a new one and spent the time showing me how to work my new BBQ. He wouldn't take a tip when I offered. Totally impressed. Will definitely refer people to this company.”

Woke up to a broken refrigerator and started searching for a new one so that we wouldn’t lose the food we had but also didn’t have it in the budget to go and get a new one. “1/25/2026--Another quality part ordered from Goodman's--the blade for my 30 year old blender. Yes, shipping was $10 (which, remember, pays for the cost of picking, packaging, and shipping). Comparing the cost of ordering from Goodman's compared to Amazon? Only $4, and I knew I would get an OEM part from Goodman's. One never knows what one will get when ordering from Amazon; the company selling the part on AMZN is outside of the U.S. I received my order in a timely manner, and it fits perfectly. I will always order my small appliance parts from Goodman's.

Previous review: Goodman's sent a glass replacement pitcher for my 30 year old Oster blender. I received it in a timely manner. It appears to be OEM as it has the Oster logo on it. Goodman's had the best price of all companies that stocked this pitcher.”

“There hasn't been a time that I've gone to this big box hardware store that I've been disappointed.As someone who is clueless about hardware, I usually get a handyman to help me, but I didn't want to wait till he was free for something I needed right away and could "probably" do myself. I rushed over with lightbulb in hand because the light went out in my bathroom. Given that the bulb is a bit different--with two small prongs which I later learned is called a bipin or bi-pin, I knew I'd need some expert help. After strolling down the aisles, I realized they didn't have the bulb I needed! So I went on the hunt.... After much deliberation with the guys, we agreed on the best possible solution which was to get an adapter so I could just screw in a standard light bulb. The best part was that it was all very affordable and I have two choices going forward. Despite this location not having a whole lot of crew members, when you find one (or two), you can bet your bottom dollar they will jump in and make it worth your trip there!As I was leaving the store, I noticed there's a question on the bottom of my receipt: "Did we nail it?" Yes; Carlos and Paul nailed it!”

“Went in to this location which quite frankly is usually a mission. But today was totally different, we were greeted by someone but she didn't know how to operate the machine to cut the blinds she went to get somebody else after several minutes a young lady walked by and asked if we needed help and we said yes. She said no problem give me a moment and within 30 seconds she was back with gloves and proceeded to cut those blinds like a professional. I am a handyman by trade and she knew what she was doing and she did it perfectly, Julia B. is a breath of fresh air she was courteous, kind, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. She handled our issues with the blinds and made sure we had everything we needed to install them. Home Depot is very lucky to have Julia B as an employee.Julia gave me a whole new outlook on this location which is good because it's close to my grandmothers house so instead of making that trip to Coconut Grove I will now be giving this location more of my business.
