“I came into this shop on a Friday afternoon already having a really hard day. I had just received some scary news and still needed to get an oil change and a headlight replaced.
I’ll be honest: I know absolutely nothing about cars, and I showed up pretty emotional, with tears rolling down my face.
From the moment I walked in, I was met with nothing but kindness. The young woman at the front greeted me with a warm smile, and despite it being around 4:20 p.m. on a Friday, they took me in without hesitation.
I was introduced to Chris, who was an absolute gentleman. Through my rambling, I explained what I needed: an oil change, a headlight replacement, and a few concerns I had about my older car.
Chris listened attentively, checked a few things to ease my worries, and treated me with genuine patience and respect. What stood out most was that he never exaggerated issues or tried to upsell me. He was honest, calm, and reassuring, which meant more than he probably realized in that moment.
As a young woman who is pretty clueless about cars, I was finally able to exhale in relief.
I also had the chance to meet the owner, who was just as kind and welcoming. The entire experience felt human, respectful, and safe.
I’ve had my Honda Civic since I was 19, and for the first time ever, I can confidently say: I found my mechanic 🤍

“After essentially getting scammed at the dealer, I came here as a last effort to fix my Infiniti G37. The car is still being repaired by them, but I feel my experience so far warrants a 5 star review. The two brothers are extremely polite and hard working, true professionals. They are honest about wait times and have fair prices for everything across the board.
It is helpful to have a shop like this nearby when you aren't mechanically inclined. Even if they can't fix my car this time around, I will definitely be back.”

Yellow Check Engine Light Turned On Along with Vehicle Stability Assist. Documenting my experience with this repair shop from estimate to hopefully repair experience. This review will be updated accordingly. Diagnostic will be performed on 11/17/2025. Update: Coils & Spark Plugs were replaced and i was able to get home safely. Service was great and quickly ( same day as diagnostic). I highly recommend this shop.”

“I went in for an oil change, and unfortunately, they forgot to secure the screws on the under cover of my car, leaving it loose and scraping the ground. I was initially frustrated and worried, but when I contacted the manager, Yasel, he handled everything remarkably well. His customer service was excellent, and he resolved the issue within just a few hours.

“Exceptional Service, Expertise, and Honesty!
I have known about Jap Tech since they were located in Miami, and there is a reason they continue to earn my trust. Recently, I brought in my 2020 Honda CR-V after every warning light on the dashboard came on and the gear shift became stuck.
After performing an initial diagnostic test, they explained that the next step would require a minimum three-hour diagnostic fee to fully troubleshoot the issue. They were very transparent about the process and the possible causes but made it clear that they would not know the exact problem until the troubleshooting was completed.
Howard, however, told me he had a strong instinct about what the issue might be. He honestly gave me a choice: pay for the full diagnostic process or trust his experience and judgment. Having known his skills and expertise for years, I chose to trust his instinct.
Before the end of the day, my CR-V was repaired. Howard discovered that the problem was simply a blown fuse under the dashboard. What impressed me most was his honesty. He could have easily charged me for extensive diagnostic work, but instead, he told me exactly what the issue was. He also took the time to explain that if the problem were to happen again, it could indicate a more expensive module issue in the future.
Thankfully, my vehicle has been running perfectly ever since with no further problems.
Howard's expertise, integrity, and commitment to doing what's right for his customers are exactly why I will continue taking my vehicles to Jap Tech. If you own a Honda or Acura and are looking for a trustworthy repair shop in Pembroke Pines, I highly recommend Jap Tech.

“This place is awesome. after going to 5 places and getting estimates ranging from $1500.00-$2500.00 they faxed my problem for $270.00 including charging the AC system. super honest and they did great work. going back for 2 new tires Wednesday. everyone else wanted $300.00 for 2 tires plus mounting and balancing, they only want $200.00 including mounting and balancing”

“I had a difficult situation come up on my way to work, and I’m so grateful I stopped here. Lazaro took the time to help me figure out the problem and had me back on my way in less than 10 minutes.
What really stood out to me was that, even though he absolutely could have charged me for his time and assistance, he didn’t charge me anything. His kindness and willingness to help genuinely saved me from having to call an Uber and get a ride all the way back to Miami.
It’s not often you come across someone who is willing to help a stranger simply because it’s the right thing to do. I really appreciate it and would absolutely recommend this mechanic to anyone looking for someone honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Thank you again!”
