Jackson is almost 14 years old and I have NEVER met a vet like Dr. Hamilton. He was the kindest person and took so much care in examining Jackson and learning about his medical history. I will never forget the concern he had for Jackson's current condition and providing explanations and details in ways for me to understand. I was very overwhelmed with the level of care Dr. Hamilton and the staff provided us and we will absolutely, without a second thought, be using this veterinarian office moving forward. “Needed a new vet. Very happy I chose West Park. Spent a lot of time researching. This was one of two vets that were very responsive to my questions. At the appointment, the vet tech and then the vet herself spent a lot of time with my dog trying to make her less nervous. There’s no exam table so the vet and the tech get right down on the floor to interact with the dog and give a lot of affection while poking and prodding. Exam, heart worm and fecal tests, and vaccinations requires for boarding came in around $260 which I thought was very reasonable based on other vet visits and my research this year to find a new vet.”

I’ve taken my cat a few times also and same thing just great care. I drive from St.pete to this office not just for the amazing care but the fair pricing. I also never feel uncomfortable discussing pricing and figuring out what medicines or procedures are a priority so I can budget for future appointments. “I was very pleased with my experience at this veterinary office. Dr Daniels is super sweet and was very gentle, loving, and calm with my 12 year old kitty. The facility is clean, staff is friendly and professional. My kitty was able to explore our room, she really enjoyed the window sill. She and I have had bad experiences at other vets, so I was nervous to try another place, but there was zero reason to worry as this place is very nice. I recommend this facility, especially for cat owners!”

I have no issues.20 years ago I had to take my family cat to go to heaven and when they did the process the cat screamed so loud 20 years later today I’m still very traumatized . They did tho perform the care and it was the only option. After it was over they left the cat with me in the room to help me stop crying. When about 15 min passed a tech came in and saw I was in a lot of emotional pain. She asked would I like a coffee. I told her what I liked and she went next door ordered the coffee. I would say I was in the room for a total with the coffee for 45min. When I finally controlled myself I told them rhey can take the cat.I am here not to talk ill but to let you know even tho it was a traumatic experience the staff assisted me. Thank you.”

“Although I did love Dr St John, the new vet, Dr A and staff have transformed the former VERY cluttered, crowded, and dark space, into a clean, bright, beautiful space. Prices have increased quite a bit, but are in line with other vets in the area. You would HAVE to expect that when a new owner takes over a decades-old practice. You can obviously see that the money is not lining anyone's pockets - it is going toward the practice. I am very happy with Dr A and staff and am confident they are taking good care of the patients in their care. My senior yorkie is well loved and cared for there. Most of the poor reviews are about cost. Is that really the measurement you're going to use for a vet's quality and expertise? Shouldn't medical professionals make money? Should they spend YEARS and a great deal of money becoming a vet and then not expect to recoup anything from their efforts? C'mon. (I'm POSITIVE Dr St John didn't spend a tiny fraction of what Dr A had to spend on her education!) In your review, just say "I can't afford to take my pet here." There's no need to bash the practice because it doesn't line up with your budget. I have been going to this practice for over 20 years with all of my dogs. I was happy with Dr. St John and I am happy with Dr A and staff as well. By the way, I was not asked to write a review, and I am not friends with or related to anyone there either. I happened to be looking up the phone number and saw the poor reviews on Google. I know how poor reviews can affect a business.”

So many places will charge you an arm and a leg because they know you don't have a choice. That is not the case here. They are compassionate. They have so many specialist on staff . The vet techs and the vet were so caring with Buster and he was so comfortable with them - he had no hesitation going back for his exam. My precious vet experience was a surprise bill at the end for tests we didn’t know the vet would perform but this was not the case here.
