“I had such a wonderful experience at this veterinary office. From the moment I called, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and reassuring. I was anxious about reaching out because I needed a follow-up appointment even though my cat had initially been seen elsewhere, but they were so understanding and managed to get me in the very next day, which meant a lot to me. The office itself is adorable and welcoming! They had a Valentine’s Day tree decorated and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of my cat in front of it. While I was there I noticed other clients coming and going, and the staff knew both the owners and their pets by name, which really speaks to the level of care and connection they have with their patients. The vet tech and doctor were both excellent, kind, patient, and thorough. I felt truly heard, and everything was explained clearly without being overwhelming. I really appreciated that they gave me options for testing, explaining the cost difference between same-day results and next-day results without any pressure. I chose the more affordable option and they still called me first thing the next morning with the results. Overall it was very affordable. I never felt rushed, upsold, or pushed into anything I didn’t ask for. The entire experience felt compassionate, transparent, and genuinely caring. I’m so grateful to have found this practice and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares about both pets and their people.”

Dr. Bayer is absolutely fantastic. He is incredibly knowledgeable, confident, and compassionate. He was not at all intimidated by my Shar-Pei, approached my dog with calm assurance, and demonstrated a deep understanding of the breed and its common medical concerns. The pricing was more than reasonable. After being quoted nearly $4,000 elsewhere for the same services, Hunters Creek Animal Hospital provided an estimate of around $800, which was transparent and fair. What truly stood out was that Dr. Bayer personally called me during my dog’s procedure to provide an update and to ensure I was comfortable moving forward with everything outlined in the estimate. That level of communication, respect, and professionalism is rare.

Overall, this practice is friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I felt heard, respected, and confident every step of the way.

“I came here for an appointment after my cat had two unsuccessful surgeries! The staff and the doctor were friendly and answered all my questions to ease my worries! The staff overall wasn’t forceful trying to get you to pay for a million things. My cat was having a situation I believed was an emergency and I kept paying thousands for vets to redo the surgery. Come to find out my cats situation isnt as urgent as I thought. Overall the doctor was SO honest with me and understanding and helped me calm down about my pets current situation. “Dr. Matthew Fife is the absolute best. I’ve been seeing him for five years to care for my Shar Pei’s eyes. He’s performed entropion surgery on my puppy’s eyes that were folding in and also helped me treat my dog for glaucoma later on in life.

“I'd previously been one of those that only took her cat to the vet if something was wrong, but I wanted to have Winnie seen regularly in her senior years. I was worried I'd be scolded about how infrequently winnie had been to the vet in the 3 years I'd had her, but the staff at Kindred Spirits were so kind and never batted an eye at me!

I got set up on an affordable care plan for Winnie to be able to have her bloodwork and exams on a regular schedule every year, and Winnie had a dental cleaning and two extractions. The facility is clean, the staff is so kind to my baby kitty, and they went the extra mile to make sure I felt safe leaving her with them every step of the way. They even went as far as following up the morning after her dental cleaning to see how her night went after anesthesia - attention to detail on lock! So relieved to have found a great practice for my baby!”

We brought our dog, Betty Boop, to Animal Cancer Care Clinic during one of the most stressful times a pet owner can face, and I can’t say enough good things about the care we received from start to finish.

For context: Betty was diagnosed by our local vet with a Stage 2 soft tissue sarcoma in her rear paw. Our vet actually recommended this clinic (and has even used them for her own dog), which gave us confidence from day one. I loved how quick they responded to my initial inquiry.

Our surgeon, Dr. Tammi Ruddle, was absolutely incredible: knowledgeable, personable, calm, and truly reassuring. She explained everything clearly, answered every question, and made us feel like Betty was in the best possible hands (because she was).

Our initial consultation was with Dr. Shannon O’Day, who was thorough, straightforward, and extremely informative. She gave us exactly what we needed to make an informed decision for Betty’s care — and when I asked what she would do in our situation, she actually answered. That honesty meant a lot, more than she probably knows.

The entire staff was wonderful: kind, patient, and genuinely caring. What stood out most was the follow-through, they did everything they said they would do. Updates, communication, follow-ups… that level of consistency and professionalism is rare these days.

I also want to share our outcome: Betty’s margins came back clean, and we were told they believe they removed all of the cancer in that area. I know outcomes can vary and nothing is guaranteed, but I truly believe this result was possible because of this team’s expertise, planning, and care.

Lastly, a note: veterinary oncology is emotional, high-stakes, and scary, and that stress can color how experiences are perceived. From our perspective, this clinic delivered exactly what you hope for: expertise, compassion, and clear communication.

“I’ve brought my dogs a few times here already, they’ve seen both Dr. Hayes and Dr. Dosher. All I can say is they’re amazing!!! They were with another vet for 3yrs and they have never been treated as amazing as they have here. My dog is a bit anxious and it would take 3-4 people to handle my dog at the other place. Here they sit down with my dogs on the floor and gain my dogs trust, without any extra help. They are amazing at what they do here, the only downside is that whenever your dog is sick you have to wait a week to a week and half to be seen. So emergencies don’t work here but as a primary it works.”

“While bathing our large dog we noticed an inflamed Dew claw and the team was able to schedule an appointment within 2 hours. Doctor Shah was quick to diagnose the problem and resolved it. Additionally she diagnosed a few joints needing care as well as allergy condition. Pills were prescribed. Then the bill came. I was suprised that the total was very reasonable and well under expectations. We will be scheduling our return visit soon.

2 days later his coat shows marked improvement and has more pep. The inflammation has reduced.

“In 2008, Dr. Glenn and the EOAH team repaired my Lily's tibial fracture. She was only 6 months old when the injury happened, so the repair and excellent after-care ensured she went on to enjoy so many more adventures than my husband and I could've imagined.

Lily went on to climb mountains, play in creeks, and roadtrip with us from Florida to Utah to Washington. Our sweet girl lived to be fourteen years young this year, but we were still not ready when the moment came to say good-bye.

My husband and I are still so very grateful to Dr. Glenn and EOAH's expert care all those years ago so Lily could live on to have a full life without a limp or care in the world. Thank you!”
