“Shopping here was one of the highlights of my trip to Venice! “I ❤️❤️❤️ this boutique. I stumbled upon in when driving home one day. The name is Maco Made in Colombia. It’s in Gulf Gate (Sarasota). The owner is a treasure. The store is bright and colorful. My eyes kept jumping from one beautiful thing to the next. There is handmade jewelry, handmade hats, dolls, purses, bowls, the list goes on. I absolutely recommend a visit to the store.As an extra bonus, they do events like Salsa dancing, wine and cheese, empanadas tasting, just to make a few. “I came across this place when looking for a nice area to go shopping in when I was in the area on vacation. Lovely little shop and spent a few minutes talking to the very nice lady working there. “Stopped for a late lunch before we went to a show we each ordered a flatbread. My wife had the usual margarita one that she always gets so it was very good. I had a barbecue chicken one with no cheese and it was good but afterwards I had a piece of their very unusual meringue Keylime pie, which was delicious exceptionally sweet but the cup of coffee which was also good we went outside and the picture you'll see a picture of a pelican that was sitting right outside. It's right on the ocean and we sat where we could see everything this pelican was there for most of the time we ate.”
